MAINTAINING PEOPLE'S FAITH IN THE PARTY AND THE GOVERNMENT

The Vietnam Fatherland Front is an organization that represents and protects the legitimate rights and interests of the People, and is also the core force that gathers the great national unity bloc. In the 2-level local government model, the role of the Front is further demonstrated through being close to the people and promptly reflecting the thoughts and aspirations of the People to the Party Committee and the Government.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province coordinated to present Great Unity houses to poor, near-poor, and housing-challenged households in Dong Son commune.

Through voter contact conferences, people's meetings, and thematic monitoring programs, the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels proactively listens to and records many recommendations from the people on organizational structure, administrative procedures, social security policies, etc. Thereby, helping the government promptly remove obstacles, increase transparency and efficiency in management.

The arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus according to the Resolution of the National Assembly created an important change: Reducing intermediate levels, shortening the processing procedures, saving resources and improving service quality. People clearly feel the change. Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh (Cho Gao commune) shared: "The streamlined government apparatus solves work faster. In particular, the Fatherland Front always listens to and protects the legitimate rights of the people, helping us to have more trust in the Party and the government."

According to statistics, from August 2024 to now, the whole province has received more than 2,000 opinions from the people related to the arrangement of the apparatus, personnel policies and activities of the political system. Many opinions were accepted, demonstrating the spirit of "Party's will - people's heart" in implementing the new policy. During the same period, the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels conducted 2,222 supervisions, criticisms and suggestions for government building.

“WHERE THERE ARE PEOPLE, THERE IS A FRONT”

The Fatherland Front is present in all aspects of life, from people's meetings, voter contacts to social security activities. In the context of a streamlined administrative apparatus, the role of connecting the Party's ideas and the people's hearts is increasingly promoted. The Fatherland Front is also the force that organizes and spreads many large emulation movements such as: "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", "For the poor - No one is left behind", "Eliminate temporary houses and dilapidated houses"...

In addition, the Front takes on the role of “arbitrator” in grassroots mediation. Many conflicts in the community are detected early and promptly mediated by the Front Working Committees of residential areas, preventing hot spots from arising, contributing to maintaining security, order and internal solidarity.

With the motto "Using the people's strength to care for the people", "People know, people discuss, people do, people check, people supervise, people benefit", with the close leadership of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee focuses on self-management models in residential communities to arouse the potential and creativity of the people in participating in and implementing patriotic emulation movements and campaigns.

Currently, the whole province maintains the effective operation of nearly 24,500 self-managed People's Groups; 150 Associations with the same profession and field in the province, 38 cooperatives established from Associations; 24 spaces of great solidarity; 21 Self-managed Groups of national border markers and security and order in border areas; coordinate with the Public Security sector to implement the residential area model "Security - Safety - Peace of mind" in the localities.

Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Dinh Van Dung affirmed: The 2-level local government model sets higher requirements for the Fatherland Front in listening to the people, speaking the voice of the people and accompanying the government to solve practical problems of life. This is both a responsibility and an opportunity for the Front to continue to affirm its position in the political system and in the hearts of the people.

From remote areas to urban areas, the Fatherland Front is always present and actively contributes to local development. The dedication and closeness of the Front's staff build solid trust among the people, while promoting the strength of solidarity to work with the government to successfully achieve socio -economic development goals.

In the stage of continuing to perfect the 2-level local government model, the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front is not only limited to the function of reflecting public opinion, but also a pillar force in maintaining the great national unity bloc, contributing to building a streamlined, effective and efficient political system.
