(Dan Tri Newspaper) - The Ministry of Public Security has decided to establish the Da Huoai District Police (Lam Dong province) by merging the police forces of three districts.
On November 29th, the Lam Dong Provincial Police held a ceremony to announce the decision of the Minister of Public Security regarding the establishment of the (new) Da Huoai District Police.
Accordingly, the (new) Da Huoai District Police Department was established by merging the Da Huoai, Da Teh, and Cat Tien District Police Departments (Lam Dong province).
On the same day, the Lam Dong Provincial Police also appointed Major Dao Huy Duong, former Head of Da Huoai District Police, to the position of Head of Da Huoai District Police (new).

Previously, on October 24th, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly issued Resolution No. 1245/NQ-UBTVQH15 on the rearrangement of district and commune-level administrative units in Lam Dong province for the period 2023-2025. This included the merger of Da Teh and Cat Tien districts into Da Huoai district, effective from December 1st.
In early November, the Standing Committee of the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee issued a plan for establishing the organizational structure and arranging personnel for district and commune-level administrative units for the period 2023-2025.
