On November 7th, Mr. Vu Chi Hoa, Deputy Head of the Movement Department of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, received a donation of 100 million VND from Dr. Phung Thi Hoa, owner of Thuan Hoa Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic, to support people in the northern provinces in overcoming the consequences of Typhoon No. 3.

Handing over the donation to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Dr. Phung Thi Hoa shared her emotion upon witnessing the heartbreaking images that people in the northern provinces had to endure during the recent storms and floods; and also expressed her sympathy and solidarity with the people in the flood-affected areas.
"Having dedicated myself to the profession of healing and saving lives for many years, and now witnessing the losses and suffering of our compatriots in the northern provinces caused by typhoon No. 3, I wish to contribute a little from my heart, hoping that our people will soon overcome this difficult period," shared Ms. Phung Thi Hoa.

Expressing sincere gratitude for the noble gesture of Ms. Phung Thi Hoa, Mr. Vu Chi Hoa, Deputy Head of the Movement Department of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, affirmed that this donation is a great encouragement to help people in the northern provinces overcome difficulties, recover from the damage after the storm, and quickly rebuild their lives; he also committed that the donated money will be used by the Central Relief Campaign Committee for the intended purpose, in accordance with requirements and publicly disclosed as stipulated by law.
On the same day, Mr. Nguyen Van Hanh, Deputy Chief of the Office of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, received a donation of 85 million VND from the Vietnam-Russia Friendship Association.
Representing the Vietnam-Russia Friendship Association in presenting donations at the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front were Mr. Nguyen Dang Phat, Vice Chairman and General Secretary of the Vietnam-Russia Friendship Association; Mr. Tran Van Tam, Standing Committee Member and Deputy General Secretary in charge of Vietnam-Russia Economic Cooperation, Vietnam-Russia Friendship Association; and Mr. Tran Duc Hieu, Deputy General Secretary of the Vietnam-Russia Friendship Association.


Upon receiving the donation, Mr. Nguyen Van Hanh, Deputy Chief of the Office of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, affirmed that the joint support of the Vietnam-Russia Friendship Association demonstrated patriotism, solidarity, and a timely contribution of resources to help people quickly overcome the consequences of Typhoon No. 3 and stabilize their lives. He also committed that the donated funds would be used by the Central Relief Campaign Committee for the intended purpose and publicly in accordance with the law; and that the funds would be allocated promptly, transparently, and to the right people and addresses in the localities affected by Typhoon No. 3.
