500 million VND awarded to support people affected by natural disasters

DNO - On the morning of December 4, Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City Nguyen Thi Thanh Phuong received a representative of Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Sacombank) to present 500 million VND to support people affected by floods.

This is a local support part of the banking program implemented in areas heavily affected by floods, including Khanh Hoa, Dak Lak , Gia Lai, Hue and Da Nang.

Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City Nguyen Thi Thanh Phuong acknowledged and appreciated the noble gesture of Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank and affirmed that the support funds will be allocated promptly and to the right beneficiaries, helping people to soon stabilize their lives and restore production.

It is known that previously, during the historic flood in Thai Nguyen in October, the bank supported 1 billion VND through the Provincial Relief Fund and gave 300 million VND in necessities to people in communes and wards that suffered heavy damage due to floods...
