Concretize ideas
For Mr. Nguyen Viet Hoang (student of University of Economics - University of Danang), founder of 2 projects DaNa Green and Green-STORM, the journey to FINC+ is like a transition from thinking to action.
DaNa Green's starting point was realizing that the amount of recyclable waste in residential areas was mixed, the cost of sorting was high and it was easy to lose resources. From there, the team developed a smart recycling collection system, applying AI and IoT to identify, classify waste, and optimize the collection process.
The "gamification" mechanism is integrated into the product to help people accumulate points to exchange for gifts, creating the habit of sorting waste at the source instead of following a trend that quickly cools down. The model aims for a closed ecosystem between households - collection units - recycling businesses and urban authorities.
In parallel, Green-STORM has the "mission" of automating the packing of nursery pots for agriculture . Instead of labor-intensive manual operations, the product allows the machine to operate at a productivity of about 7,000 pots/hour, reducing up to 80% of labor and shortening processing time at the nursery.
Not high-tech in a complicated way, Green-STORM targets small and medium-sized customers with the criteria of "reasonable price - easy to operate - durable - labor-saving".
[ VIDEO ] - Mr. Nguyen Viet Hoang, founder of 2 projects Green-STORM and DANA Green, shares about the value achieved when participating in FINC+ 2025:
"In class, we learn about startups, but in reality, we see that the gap between ideas and commercial products is huge. At FINC+, each project has a mentor who closely accompanies us, teaches us how to survey and test the market, design prototypes and present plans to investors. We learn how to go step by step, not to take on too much but to clarify the problem before talking about calling for capital," Mr. Hoang shared.
Thanks to the program, DaNa Green reached a cooperation agreement with Loc Nhan Coffee Recycling Company Limited (Ho Chi Minh City) in the field of collecting coffee grounds, a special type of waste that is increasing rapidly with the expansion of the F&B market. The two sides are working on a process design and aiming for long-term cooperation.

DaNa Green and Green-STORM projects are two of a total of 35 projects and project groups that have access to the incubation - pre-incubation space of FINC+ 2025.
According to Ms. Doan Thi Xuan Trang, Deputy Director of DNES, 100% of the projects have completed prototypes, test models or technical drawings. The groups conducted surveys of at least 30 potential customers, clearly understanding market demand; some projects have had real paying customers such as Ontab, Bestlist.AI.
22 projects participated in startup competitions and 18 projects won awards, such as: SURF 2025, Startup Runway, VietFuture Awards, The Next Wave of Startups 2025, InTE 2025... Many projects initially showed their competitiveness and courage in presenting to the selection committee.
Wide open opportunities
The FINC+ incubation program includes Enfue, Vietro Care, Skoolib, Gooride and Nhan Tam Coop, the group has a minimum product and started commercial testing. The 4-month roadmap, combining online and offline, allows the founding team to understand the market, perfect the financial model, pricing strategy, design MVP products and reach the first group of users.
In addition, startups receive 1-on-1 consultation from industry experts, with more than 30 mentoring sessions per cycle, and 6 experts participating in training on tax, marketing, pitching and capital calling.
The Department of Science and Technology supports 20 million VND/project, FUNDGO supports an additional 10 million VND. This is not a large number but has very practical meaning for startups in the initial stage, especially software technology projects or prototype products.
The results showed that 100% of the projects completed MVP, identified the first customer group and generated trial revenue. After the program, 4 projects established businesses, 1 project established a cooperative (Tra ươi bay).
There are projects targeting the international market. Among them, Enfue is present in 10 countries; Skoolib has more than 3,000 users/month in more than 100 countries. In addition, Vietro Care has successfully raised capital, showing clear commercialization potential.

According to Mr. Nguyen Viet Toan, Director of the Danang Center for Supporting Innovative Startups, the projects have matured in product thinking, knowing how to listen to feedback and adjust strategies after a short time participating in the FINC+ program.
The emergence of projects like DaNa Green, Green-STORM, Vietro Care or Enfue shows that a generation of startups with ideas know how to measure the market, build prototypes, approach customers and call for capital.
"Investment funds often prioritize projects that demonstrate clear competitive advantages, potential growth rates, and market expansion capabilities. Startups need to improve management capacity, develop core technology, and demonstrate early revenue.
When Da Nang promotes attracting high technology, opportunities for local projects will open up, as long as they are brave enough to appear before investment funds with the confidence of real people," said Mr. Toan.
