DNO - Many businesses and cooperatives in Da Nang are proactively expanding their distribution channels, narrowing the gap between product potential and development capabilities. However, for "Made in Da Nang" products to reach larger markets, businesses need to effectively utilize industrial promotion policies, trade promotion, and support for connecting with consumers.

Narrowing the gap between potential and market

Launched at the end of 2024, Dulius chili sauce from Tam Legend Group Joint Stock Company (Hai Chau ward) quickly made its mark on the food and spice market.

With a clean processing technology and raw materials sourced from the Vu Gia - Thu Bon river basin, the company's chili sauce has won the trust of customers both online and in person, thanks to its mild spiciness and distinctive flavor.

Mr. Nguyen Duy Viet, Director of Tam Legend Group Joint Stock Company, said that the product is now available on e-commerce platforms and has been introduced into the system of organic food supermarkets and regional specialty stores.

Recognizing the crucial role of online distribution channels, the company focused on building content and live streaming on e-commerce platforms and social media. As a result, their products reached a wider audience of domestic and international tourists.

According to Mr. Viet, although the city has many policies to promote industry and trade, many businesses still find it difficult to access these resources for various reasons. The company wants to access more specific information about policies to promote industry, innovation, and green transformation.

“Receiving 100% support for participation costs in trade promotion fairs gives businesses the opportunity to access a common playing field with major brands. Businesses hope that the city will soon form a community connecting manufacturers, distributors, and customers, in order to create a stable supply chain and reduce consumption pressure for startups,” shared Mr. Nguyen Duy Viet, Director of Tam Legend Group Joint Stock Company.

Meanwhile, since its establishment in 2023, Duy Oanh Green Agriculture Cooperative (Duy Xuyen commune) has focused on perfecting its products and actively participating in the Outstanding Rural Industrial Products Program at all levels.

A notable achievement of the cooperative is its "Brown Rice Bar" product, which was recently awarded the Certificate of Outstanding National Rural Industrial Product by the Ministry of Industry and Trade for the sixth time - 2025.

According to Ms. Pham Thi Duy My, Director of Duy Oanh Green Agriculture Cooperative, the industrial promotion policy is an important resource that helps the cooperative move forward more steadily in the initial stage. In June 2025, from the local industrial promotion program, the cooperative received 67 million VND to invest in machinery and equipment.

The timely funding helped the cooperative increase productivity, ensure product quality, and enhance competitiveness. At the same time, the cooperative also boosted its trade promotion activities thanks to the support from the city.

“The cooperative receives support in market promotion not only domestically but also in Japan. I believe that the partnership with the city's Department of Industry and Trade is an important foundation that helps typical rural industrial products have the opportunity to reach further,” Ms. My shared.

In the coming period, the cooperative will focus on product development, improving quality and design, and expanding its market. In addition, the cooperative will participate in the city's trade promotion activities to seek opportunities for cooperation, establish regional raw material linkages, and create new, valuable products that bear the distinctive mark of Quang Nam province.

Mr. Dinh Van Phuc, Deputy Director of the Da Nang City Center for Industrial Promotion and Trade Promotion (Department of Industry and Trade), commented that after the merger, Da Nang City has great strengths to develop typical rural industrial products.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade has been implementing a comprehensive set of solutions to support businesses and enterprises in improving their production capacity and developing rural industrial products in a green, clean, and sustainable direction.

Through industrial promotion policies, businesses receive support for investing in machinery, equipment, and the application of advanced production technologies. This improves product quality and design, enabling businesses to participate in the selection program for outstanding rural industrial products at all levels.

At the same time, the city's Department of Industry and Trade continues to promote trade activities and support businesses in expanding their markets to bring typical rural industrial products closer to consumers.

The City's Center for Industrial Promotion and Trade Development is advising the Department of Industry and Trade and the City People's Committee to review and finalize a new resolution on industrial promotion policies, aiming for a more unified and comprehensive approach. Once issued, the resolution will provide a basis for management agencies to conduct surveys and support businesses in accessing capital, expanding production through closed-loop processes, and focusing on high-quality, environmentally friendly products that are competitive in the export market.

“The City's Center for Industrial Promotion and Trade Development is advising the Department of Industry and Trade and the City People's Committee to review and finalize a new resolution on industrial promotion policies in a more unified and comprehensive manner. Once issued, the resolution will provide a basis for management agencies to conduct surveys and support businesses in accessing capital, expanding production in a closed-loop process, aiming for high-quality, environmentally friendly products that are competitive in the export market,” said Mr. Dinh Van Phuc, Deputy Director of the Da Nang City Center for Industrial Promotion and Trade Development.

According to Ms. Do Thi Minh Tram, Deputy Director of the Department of Innovation, Green Transformation and Industrial Promotion, the Ministry of Industry and Trade is assigning the Department to implement programs to support businesses in the process of green transformation and green growth. In particular, the National Industrial Promotion Program has been implemented for many years and has brought practical benefits to businesses.

Recently, the Government issued Decree No. 235/2025/ND-CP amending and supplementing several articles of Decree 45/2012/ND-CP of 2012 on industrial promotion. Along with the Industrial Promotion Program for the period 2026/2030, the new decree will adjust and supplement support mechanisms related to typical rural industrial products.

These mechanisms are consistent with the practical support for small and medium-sized enterprises and rural industrial establishments in developing typical rural industrial products, while also promoting and expanding markets for these products.

“Typical rural industrial products will receive support from the National Industrial Promotion Program for promotion, label and packaging innovation, and showroom construction. These are important solutions to help small and medium-sized enterprises expand their markets and boost the consumption of rural industrial products,” Ms. Do Thi Minh Tram informed.
