"Warm winter for children" program in the border commune of Thanh Tin

On December 5, the Volunteer Group including representatives of the Department of Internal Security, the Department of Investigation Security, the Provincial Police; Venerable Thich Minh Duc, Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Tuyen Quang Province, Abbot of Sung Khanh Pagoda; Youth Union of the Provincial People's Procuracy and a number of benefactors organized a program to visit and give gifts to students of schools in Thanh Tin Commune.

Thanh Tin Commune is a mountainous area with many difficulties, the learning and living conditions of students are still lacking, especially in the harsh winter weather. With the desire to share and support students to have more conditions to go to school, the Volunteer Group has donated 715 new warm clothes, 500 kg of rice to support the boarding kitchen, 2 water heaters and many other practical and meaningful gifts to primary school students of 3 schools in the commune.
