Propagating HIV/AIDS prevention and giving gifts to Khmer people in An Cu commune

On December 4, at Hoach Co Pagoda, An Cu Commune (An Giang Province), the working group of the Internal Political Security Department (An Giang Provincial Police) and the sponsoring unit coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Cu Commune to organize propaganda on HIV/AIDS prevention and control and give gifts to the local Khmer people.

The Khmer people were informed by the Internal Political Security Department about the risks of infection and HIV/AIDS prevention and control measures; and were guided to access medical services and ARV treatment support programs. The authorities encouraged people not to discriminate against people living with HIV, contributing to creating a safe and healthy community environment.

Giving gifts to Khmer people in difficult circumstances.

On this occasion, the delegation presented 200 gifts to local Khmer people, each gift included rice and instant noodles. The total value of the gifts was 50 million VND, sponsored by the Internal Political Security Department through the mobilization of nun Dieu Can, Thanh Hoa Pagoda (Cu Lao Gieng Commune) and benefactors of Long Xuyen Ward.
