Provincial Party Secretary Hau A Lenh surveyed the planning for traffic infrastructure development in the southern region of the province.

On the afternoon of December 5, at Son Duong and Phu Luong communes, comrade Hau A Lenh, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, inspected the actual planning situation of the investment project to build a road from the provincial administrative center to Phu Luong commune connecting with IC5 intersection of Noi Bai - Lao Cai expressway and industrial parks and clusters in the southern region of the province.

Provincial Party Secretary Hau A Lenh basically agreed with the project investment planning plan.

Representatives of the Department of Construction clarified issues regarding development space when investing in the route.

According to the province's planning, the proposed road construction investment project from the provincial administrative center to Phu Luong commune connecting with the IC5 intersection of Noi Bai - Lao Cai expressway has a total length of more than 27 km, opening up new development space for the southern region of the province, thereby attracting the development of industrial zones and clusters, economic development, tourism , and services. The route is inter-regional in nature, from Long Binh An industrial park to the planning points of industrial zones and clusters in the south of the province and connecting with Phu Tho province; strengthening cooperation, attracting investment for development and forming an economic corridor of Hanoi with the northern mountainous provinces. This is a project included in the planning of Tuyen Quang province for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050 approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 325, dated March 30, 2023, with a minimum scale of a grade III plain road.

Through a field survey and a general planning map of the southern communes of the province (formerly Son Duong district), Provincial Party Secretary Hau A Lenh basically agreed on the policy and route of the project. He affirmed that the route being formed has an important meaning in gradually connecting the traffic infrastructure system, opening up new development space for the province, especially developing infrastructure of new industrial zones and clusters, attracting businesses and investment in the southern communes.

Provincial Party Secretary Hau A Lenh assigned the Provincial People's Committee and relevant departments and branches to continue studying appropriate implementation plans, calculating resources according to a feasible roadmap, meeting the requirements of strategic infrastructure development of the province in the new period. At the same time, he requested the competent authorities to closely coordinate with localities to propose policies to supplement and adjust old plans in accordance with the orientation of implementing the scale of road construction. Thereby, soon realizing this important traffic route, contributing to promoting the economic growth of the province.
