Received over 2.3 billion VND in support to overcome the consequences of natural disasters

On the afternoon of October 26, the working delegation led by comrade Nguyen Huy Dung, full-time member of the Central Steering Committee on Science, Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation (former Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen province), came to present funds to support the people of Thai Nguyen province to overcome the damage caused by storm No. 11.

The program provides financial support to the people of Thai Nguyen province to help them overcome the consequences of natural disasters.

The delegation included Comrade Vo Thanh Hung, Deputy Chief of the Central Party Office, Chairman of the Association of Central Government Agencies' Officials and Businessmen from Bac Thai province. Receiving and working with the delegation were leaders of Thai Nguyen province, including Comrade Dinh Quang Tuyen, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; and Comrades Nguyen Linh and Nguyen Thi Loan, Vice Chairpersons of the Provincial People's Committee.

Comrade Nguyen Huy Dung, on behalf of the delegation, shared his condolences with Thai Nguyen province regarding the difficulties and damage caused by Typhoon No. 11. He affirmed that, with a sense of social responsibility and compassion, the funds donated by the delegation would contribute to the early stabilization of people's lives and socio-economic activities in the area.

Leaders of Vietnam Foreign Trade Commercial Bank ( Vietcombank) presented a donation of 1 billion VND to support the people of Thai Nguyen province.

Leaders of Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) presented a donation of 1 billion VND to support the people of Thai Nguyen province.

The benefactors joined the delegation in distributing 17 gift packages, each containing 20 million VND in cash, to support 17 households in Nghinh Tuong and Phu Binh communes that suffered heavy losses due to natural disasters.

In that spirit, the Vietnam Foreign Trade Commercial Bank (Vietcombank) donated 1 billion VND; the Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) donated 1 billion VND to the Relief Fund of the Fatherland Front Committee of Thai Nguyen province. Other benefactors participating in the delegation also presented 17 gift packages, each worth 20 million VND, to households in Nghinh Tuong and Phu Binh communes severely affected by the floods.

Comrade Dinh Quang Tuyen, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Thai Nguyen province, spoke.

Expressing sincere gratitude for the sentiments and support of the delegation, Comrade Dinh Quang Tuyen, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, emphasized: This is an important source of encouragement both materially and spiritually. Currently, the province urgently needs the joint efforts of agencies, businesses, and philanthropists to share the difficulties with the people in the affected areas.

The comrade expressed his hope that Thai Nguyen province would continue to receive the attention, support, and assistance of the comrades in the delegation in each of its areas of work.
