Received over 2.3 billion VND in support to overcome the consequences of natural disasters

On the afternoon of October 26, the working delegation led by comrade Nguyen Huy Dung, full-time member of the Central Steering Committee on Science, Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation (former Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen province), came to present funds to support the people of Thai Nguyen province to overcome the damage caused by storm No. 11.

Comrade Nguyen Huy Dung, on behalf of the working delegation, shared with Thai Nguyen province the difficulties and damages caused by storm No. 11. He affirmed that with his sentiments and social responsibility, the delegation's financial support will contribute to the early stabilization of people's lives and socio- economic activities in the area.

Leaders of Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam - Vietcombank presented 1 billion VND to support people of Thai Nguyen province.

Leaders of Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group VNPT presented 1 billion VND to support people of Thai Nguyen province.

The philanthropists joined the delegation to present 17 gifts, each worth 20 million VND in cash, to support 17 households in Nghinh Tuong and Phu Binh communes that suffered heavy damage due to natural disasters.

In that spirit, the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (Vietcombank) donated 1 billion VND; Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) donated 1 billion VND to the Relief Fund of the Fatherland Front Committee of Thai Nguyen province. The philanthropists participating with the delegation also gave 17 gifts, each worth 20 million VND, to households in Nghinh Tuong and Phu Binh communes that suffered heavy losses due to floods.

Comrade Dinh Quang Tuyen, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Thai Nguyen province, spoke.

Expressing his sincere gratitude for the sentiments and support of the Working Group, Comrade Dinh Quang Tuyen, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, emphasized: This is an important source of encouragement both materially and spiritually. Currently, the province is in great need of the cooperation of agencies, businesses and philanthropists to share the difficulties with people in affected areas.
