QNgTV - The pedestrian street along My Khe beach combines tourism with local cuisine, music, and light displays, and is expected to operate from 5 PM to 10 PM daily.

Tịnh Khê commune is finalizing the last stages to open the pedestrian street, scheduled for the 20th day of the 12th lunar month.

The My Khe beachfront pedestrian street, 800 meters long and 12 meters wide, combines tourism with local cuisine, music , and illuminated spaces. The pedestrian street will open on February 7th (the 20th day of the 12th lunar month). Currently, about 20 households have registered to do business on the street. According to the design, the street is divided into four functional areas: a check-in and music/art performance area; 10 stalls selling OCOP products and souvenirs; 20 food stalls, fast food and non-alcoholic beverage stalls; and 10 stalls selling alcoholic beverages. The pedestrian street is expected to operate from 5 PM to 10 PM daily.

The pedestrian street will capitalize on the existing advantages of coastal tourism , linked to local specialties such as anchovies and fish sauce from the former Tinh Ky area. This is the second pedestrian street to be opened in Quang Ngai in early 2026. Previously, the Tra River night street along the southern bank of the Tra Khuc River (in Nghia Lo ward) was also launched and is expected to operate from the 19th or 20th of the 12th lunar month.
