Samsung executive reveals details about the Galaxy S26.

In its latest quarterly earnings announcement, Samsung revealed its strategy for the launch of its flagship Galaxy S26 series.

Specifically, at the Q3 2025 earnings call, Daniel Araujo, Vice President of Samsung's Mobile Experience division, stated that the Galaxy S26 series will "revolutionize the user experience with next-generation AI, a user-centric approach, coupled with a custom-designed processor for superior performance, including new camera sensors."

Araujo's statement almost confirms that the Galaxy S26 series will be equipped with the Exynos 2600 chip in some markets. The Exynos 2600 is expected to be the first 2nm chip manufactured by Samsung's own chip foundry.

Previous reports also indicated that Samsung will continue to use Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip for the Galaxy S26. This reinforces the possibility that the company will maintain its previously adopted dual-chip strategy.

Although a previous report suggested that only the standard Galaxy S26 version would use the Exynos chip, while the higher-end models would use Qualcomm chips, all details still need official confirmation from Samsung.

The custom-designed processor that Mr. Araujo mentioned could also refer to a special "For Galaxy" version of the Snapdragon processor.

"Research on the chip for the Galaxy S26 is still ongoing, so we cannot confirm anything about next year's flagship product line," said Araujo.

Mr. Araujo also announced that Samsung will continue its plan to innovate its foldable phone line, aiming to strengthen its product portfolio and deliver new experiences to expand its customer base. Simultaneously, the company plans to expand AI health features on the Galaxy Watch and develop additional Bluetooth headphone products.

Samsung highlighted the success of the Galaxy Z Fold7 and noted steady demand for flagship devices, tablets, and wearables during the quarter. Despite a slight decline in sales in the US and South Korea, Samsung's overall performance improved year-on-year.

Looking ahead, Samsung says it will increase AI integration into its flagship smartphone lines, including the upcoming Galaxy S26 and new foldable devices. The company will utilize seasonal promotions and boost ecosystem devices such as watches and headphones to maintain growth momentum.

Samsung announced it will prioritize leadership in AI and innovative form factors in 2026. The company also predicted that the prices of critical components such as memory will increase, which could lead to higher product prices.
