In a recent event, Mr. Nguyen Hoa Binh (Shark Binh) gave a speech about cryptocurrency and blockchain projects. This video was later shared by the businessman on Facebook. In particular, his comments about fundraising projects caused strong reactions.

"They issue coins, collect 3-5 million USD and then start to 'fail', many startups stop working. 99% of coin projects fail, investors lose money, and project leaders keep the money and profit legally," said Mr. Binh.

The above statement was shared in many cryptocurrency investment communities, with mocking and indignant opinions. The reason was that Shark Binh himself had sponsored the AntEX project, calling for domestic investment. After that, the token crashed sharply, causing many people to lose money. For a long time, Mr. Binh kept silent.

Shark Binh speaks up after 4 years of collapsed project

After receiving a wave of negative reactions to his statement, Mr. Binh posted additional explanation on Facebook. “I previously invested in the AntEX digital asset issuance project. However, the technical team committed wrongdoings and then disappeared, causing investors and supporters like me to be discredited.

Therefore, I feel responsible to share my experiences to alert the community and avoid failure, loss of money, and reputation damage like I did,” Mr. Binh wrote.

The businessman's warning post appeared 4 years after the project "collapsed". For a long time, the businessman was always "called out" when mentioning the failure of AntEX. However, he did not react. After a long time, the coin changed its name, Shark Binh explained that he was also a victim of the development team.

At the core of AntEX is the stablecoin VNDT, "powered" by nganluong.vn.

The statement raised doubts in the investment community, as Mr. Binh himself worked directly with the developer. When the project went public in 2021, the price plummeted, and the community reacted negatively, but this businessman spoke up to defend it.

In Vietnam, AntEX is known mainly for being invested by Mr. Binh's NextTech fund. It has a close relationship with the products of this ecosystem. In particular, the stablecoin product based on VND (VNDT) is provided by nganluong.vn, a service of Next Tech.

The development team ("tech team" as Mr. Binh calls it) is not clearly introduced, only low-quality images, with English names and LinkedIn social network links. The person directly making the product is Lee Le (Van Luong Le), introduced as the former Technology Director of NextTech Group, Mr. Nguyen Hoa Binh's company.

AntEX's development team includes former Next Tech employees.

On the AntEX website (the domain name has now been sold), Shark Binh, along with Mr. Dao Minh Phu and Nguyen Huu Tuat, all senior leaders of Next Tech, are introduced as Advisors. This title is different from the way Mr. Binh called himself (Supporter) in his recent speech.

AntEX redraws chart but still crashes

When searching for AntEX tokens or related information on the Internet, there is no trace of this project. The official website and social media pages have all disappeared. Mr. Nguyen Hoa Binh, one of the strategic investors of this start-up, has also stopped sharing about it since the end of 2021.

Currently, only the data of the exchanges remains, announcing the conversion of ANTEX tokens to the Rabbit project in March 2023. Accordingly, the conversion rate is 1,000 ANTEX equals 1 RAB. This type of rebranding move is called "redrawing the chart" by cryptocurrency investors. Accordingly, the history of token price fluctuations is erased, considered as starting over.

Unlike other projects that were also rebranded, the AntEX development team has completely erased all traces of its previous name. In Rabbit's introduction, there is no information suggesting any connection to the Vietnamese startup. The development orientation and roadmap have also been removed.

As of now, the RAB token has completely disappeared. Community channels, roadmap updates, and trading tools are no longer available.
