The story originated from a fake account on X impersonating Romano, using a similar name and profile picture but frequently posting satirical and unverified content. This caused the fake news to spread rapidly, creating misunderstandings among fans.

In fact, Beckham is currently focused on Inter Miami's activities, especially the inauguration of their new Nu Stadium. The Florida team played their first game there, drawing with Austin in Round 6 of the MLS on April 5th.
