On the evening of November 17, the media pages of the T1 League of Legends team simultaneously posted farewell articles to player Gumayusi. The announcement quickly surprised the global fan community when the two sides had just won their third consecutive championship together not long ago.

"Gumayusi has ended his contract with T1 to start a new challenge. The trophies we won together and the legacy we built are part of history in the hearts of fans.

We are grateful for the dedication, sacrifice and great performance of the players over the years," T1 said.

The player joined the world champion in 2018. He officially debuted in 2020 during the rebuilding period. Gumayusi and the ZOFGK squad helped the organization regain the LCK championship with a perfect record in 2022. Apart from the failure in CKTG 2022, this player and his team won the championship 3 times in a row in 2023, 2024 and 2025.

In the recently concluded season, Gumayusi was awarded the MVP award for the best player of the World Championship.
