On the occasion of Easter 2025, on April 25th, the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions formed a delegation to visit and congratulate the Catholic Solidarity Committee of Ca Mau province (Ca Mau Parish, Ward 6, Ca Mau City); Ca Mau Deanery (Quan Long Parish, Ward 2, Ca Mau City); and the Vietnam Baptist Church of Ca Mau province (Phan Hung Baptist Church, Ward 7, Ca Mau City).
At the places she visited, Ms. Nguyen Thu Tu, Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religion, extended wishes for a peaceful and happy Easter to the bishops, priests, pastors, monks, and all Catholic people in the area; and offered condolences on the passing of Pope Francis.

Ms. Nguyen Thu Tu expressed her appreciation for the positive contributions of religious organizations in working alongside the government, jointly building national unity, developing socio -economic conditions, and maintaining security and order in the locality.
Ms. Nguyen Thu Tu provided a brief overview of the current political , economic, and social situation in the province over the past period, especially the restructuring of the two-tiered government apparatus and the merger of Ca Mau and Bac Lieu provinces.
Ms. Nguyen Thu Tu expressed her wish that the Provincial Catholic Solidarity Committee, the Ca Mau Diocese, the Vietnam Baptist Church of Ca Mau Province, along with priests, pastors, monks, and Catholic people throughout the province, would continue to build upon the achievements made, unite, be proactive, uphold the tradition of patriotism, live "a good life and a beautiful faith," and closely coordinate and cooperate in propaganda and religious activities so that parishioners abide by the law, comply with State regulations, contribute positively, and support the local government, contributing to the implementation of political tasks and the overall socio-economic development of the province.
