On October 18th, Vietmap officially introduced the SpeedMap M2 dashcam, an improved version of the SpeedMap M1, offering an advanced, safe, and convenient technological solution for all drivers.

This is a standout dashcam featuring a Sony Starvis 2 sensor, standard 4G connectivity, and an exclusive speed alert feature. The SpeedMap M2 retails for VND 7,990,000 and is available for pre-order starting October 18, 2024, at major Vietmap dealers in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi , Da Nang, and Nha Trang.

Sharp images with Sony Starvis 2 and a dual-channel camera.

The SpeedMap M2 is equipped with a dual-channel camera system for recording both the front and rear of the vehicle. The front camera uses a Sony Starvis 2 IMX675 sensor with 2K resolution, allowing for sharp images even in low-light conditions. Additionally, WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) technology balances light, ensuring clear images without being overly bright or dark. The rear camera, with FullHD resolution, provides excellent monitoring of situations behind the vehicle.

Standard 4G connectivity - effective remote monitoring

SpeedMap M2 integrates standard 4G connectivity, offering many useful features:

Traffic alert data updates: Drivers can now update traffic alert data directly on their device instead of having to go through other applications as in the previous version. This feature simplifies the process and provides convenience.

Parking collision warning: When a collision occurs, the camera will automatically record images and send notifications via the Vietmap Live app, enabling easy remote monitoring.

Real-time video livestream: This feature allows drivers to monitor the vehicle's image and location in real time via the Vietmap Live app.

Review routes and travel history: This feature helps drivers easily review their previous routes and travel history.

4-inch touchscreen display - intuitive and easy to use.

With its 4-inch touchscreen, SpeedMap M2 offers an intuitive interface, clearly displaying information such as traffic alerts and speed limits. The significantly larger screen compared to the previous version allows drivers to operate quickly and easily observe speed warnings that are always displayed on the screen.

5GHz WiFi - fast and stable transmission.

The SpeedMap M2 is equipped with 5GHz WiFi, allowing for data transfer speeds up to four times faster than the previous version. This makes it easier for drivers to download videos, especially useful in emergency situations requiring immediate data extraction.

Supercapacitor batteries - high durability and safety.

Equipped with a supercapacitor battery, the SpeedMap M2 operates reliably in various harsh weather conditions. The supercapacitor battery also helps protect data in case of power interruption, providing drivers with peace of mind during use.
