The transformation of Huynh Tu Anh

Last night (August 13th), the Grand Finale of The Face Vietnam 2023 took place with the participation of 4 contestants: Xuan Hanh (Team Vu Thu Phuong), Phuong Vy (Team Minh Trieu - Ky Duyen), Tu Anh and Minh Toai (Team Anh Thu). As a result, Huynh Tu Anh, a 21-year-old contestant from Binh Duong , won the competition. With this achievement, Tu Anh will travel to Tokyo to shoot a fashion photoshoot and attend an event for a cosmetics brand. She will also have the opportunity to experience six fashion capitals: Paris, Milan, London, New York, Tokyo, and Seoul Fashion Week.

Tú Anh, born in 2002, is 1.78m tall and possesses a striking, angular face, considered suitable for the international market. Before participating in The Face, she had walked in many fashion shows, but was not yet a familiar face to the public. Therefore, information about her is extremely scarce.

On her personal page, old photos of Tu Anh show a dramatic transformation in her appearance. During her high school years, Tu Anh had a pretty, cute, and well-proportioned face without makeup.

The beauty quickly adapted to the catwalk and participated in shows by renowned designers in Ho Chi Minh City. Her makeup style accentuated her unique features.

In the early stages of The Face competition, Tú Anh wasn't particularly outstanding, but she improved with each round. On the crucial final night, Tú Anh delivered an impressive performance in both the catwalk and the video /photo shoot segments. Ms. Trang Lê – the producer of The Face Vietnam 2023 – highly praised the contestant's transformation, stating that she fully deserved the championship title.

Speaking to the media after the show, Tú Anh said she was surprised to win because her performance wasn't as perfect as during rehearsals due to hypoglycemia. After her performance, she went backstage and cried a lot because she felt so disappointed.

Huỳnh Tú Anh's victory was widely praised by the audience. On social media, many expressed their hope that the girl from Bình Dương would go far on the international catwalk.
