Strength comes from the people, action is for the people.

In 2025, the armed forces of Thai Nguyen province will continue to affirm their pivotal role in mass mobilization work, becoming a reliable bridge connecting the Party, the army, and the people. Practical activities that are close to the people and for the people have further strengthened the military-civilian relationship, while consolidating the all-people national defense at the grassroots level.

Where the soldiers are, there is faith.

From the beginning of the year, the Party Committee and the Military Command of Thai Nguyen province identified mass mobilization as a breakthrough in the implementation of local military and national defense tasks. Mass mobilization is not just about propaganda and persuasion, but must create substantive changes, meeting the needs and aspirations of the people.

According to Colonel Phan Quyet Thang, Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command, mass mobilization work must be carried out in depth, avoiding any superficiality. Every officer and soldier must have a firm grasp of the local area, understand the people, and be close to them. In that spirit, 100% of agencies and units in the provincial armed forces have developed "Effective Mass Mobilization" models, and each officer and party member has at least one practical action directed towards the people.

The armed forces of Thai Nguyen have organized hundreds of national defense and security education and propaganda sessions for tens of thousands of people. These activities have contributed to helping the community better understand the task of protecting the Fatherland, raising vigilance against the "peaceful evolution" plot, and thereby maintaining political security in the area.

The militia and reserve forces continue to be strengthened. Currently, the province has 92 commune and ward military branches and 306 militia units with more than 44,500 officers and soldiers. This is the force closest to the people, regularly training and ready to handle any natural disaster or emergency situation. Through these activities close to the people, the "people's support" is built up daily.

Many movements with profound humanitarian values have been implemented by the armed forces, such as: "Saturday for the People," "Provincial Armed Forces Join Hands in Building New Rural Areas," and "Military-Civilian Friendship in Ethnic Minority Areas." These programs address the real needs of the people through rural infrastructure development, environmental protection, traffic safety assurance, and support for poor households and families entitled to preferential policies.

In 2025, the armed forces of Thai Nguyen mobilized 3,900 man-days to help 95 poor and policy-beneficiary households build and repair houses. Many cases with special circumstances received timely support, creating a solid foundation for them to rise up.

The units also organized activities to express gratitude to those who rendered meritorious service, visited and presented gifts to wounded soldiers and Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, participated in the "For the Poor" campaign, and mobilized support for the Cuban people. These simple yet profound actions spread the spirit of "serving the people" of the Ho Chi Minh Army.

The Provincial Council for National Defense and Security Education, along with 92 commune-level councils, organized dozens of training courses for tens of thousands of officials, Party members, students, and university students, helping to raise awareness throughout society about the task of protecting the Fatherland in the new situation.

In particular, when Typhoon No. 11 caused widespread heavy rain, hundreds of officers and soldiers were present in critical areas to assist people in evacuation, rescue, and recovery efforts. In the most difficult times, the soldiers became a steadfast support for the people.

Spreading the "three deep" mass mobilization campaign.

A prime example is the 832nd Infantry Regiment, where the civilian outreach movement is implemented according to the "three deep" principle: deep at the grassroots level, deep among the target audience, and deep within the military-civilian relationship. According to Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Van Tuan, Political Commissar of the Regiment, officers and soldiers must live with the people, work with the people, speak in a way the people understand, and act in a way the people trust. The unit has established a military-civilian Zalo group to share information and promptly handle emerging situations.

Thanks to this approach, many new models have been effectively implemented: the "Zero-Civilian Market" supported over 300 poor households; the "Clean House - Bright Alley - Military and Civilian Cooperation" model renovated 40 alleyways; the 24/7 Emergency Response Team assisted people during natural disasters; and mobile legal awareness classes reached over 9,000 people. These results quickly became valuable experiences for the Provincial Military Command to replicate throughout the province.

Alongside direct public relations work, the armed forces of Thai Nguyen are also actively implementing public relations activities in cyberspace. Official information websites and community groups have been established to provide legal knowledge, guide public opinion, and combat false narratives. Each officer and soldier has become a "digital public relations officer," more modern and flexible in the new era.

Emulation movements such as "Democracy, solidarity, creativity, discipline, and decisive victory," "Raising the red flag of August - achieving three bests," and "Competing to achieve merits and glorify traditions" created a vibrant atmosphere and awakened the spirit of serving the people in each officer and soldier.

The practical contributions of the armed forces of Thai Nguyen province in 2025 have further strengthened the people's trust and reinforced the solid foundation of public support, creating important internal strength and contributing to consolidating the "people's support" strategy.
