Returning to Bach Dich in the early days of the new year, the most striking thing is the transformation evident in every road and house. Gone are the muddy paths, replaced by winding concrete roads, extending joy to the remote villages. This is the result of a tireless journey in leadership and guidance by the commune's Party Committee, aimed at building a strong political system from the grassroots level.
In a story shared at the beginning of the year, Comrade Hoang Anh Tuan, Secretary of the Party Committee of Bach Dich commune, enthusiastically shared: "Identifying poverty reduction as a key task, we have meticulously reviewed each household, understanding their needs to develop the most practical support plans. The effective integration of programs and projects has truly become a lever to improve the material and spiritual lives of the people."
A vivid example is the "revolution" in housing. By 2025, the commune had completed the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for 103 households, with the total disbursed funds reaching 100% of the plan. Celebrating Tet in his new, spacious house, Mr. Mung Van Quynh, from Coc Puc village, Bach Dich commune, emotionally said: "Thank you very much to the Party and the government. With a new, sturdy house, this Tet will be much warmer, and my family will be able to work and produce with peace of mind to escape poverty sustainably."
The joy of spring is doubled as the economic picture of the border commune continues to grow steadily, with 16 out of 17 targets met or exceeded. Beyond just the numbers, the shift in economic structure towards expanding scale and focusing on quality in livestock farming and crop cultivation has truly changed the production mindset of the people.

Besides the economy, the cultural and educational sectors have also seen positive changes. In particular, Party building work has always been emphasized, with 20 outstanding individuals admitted to the Party last year, further energizing the revolutionary ideals of the border region. National defense and security in Bach Dich continue to be maintained; the movement of the entire population protecting the border and boundary markers, linked to the people's border defense posture, is becoming increasingly effective.
In the vibrant atmosphere of the new spring of the Year of the Horse, every resident of the Bach Dich border region carries within them unwavering faith in the leadership of the Party and the State. With renewed enthusiasm stemming from past achievements, the Party Committee and the people here are working together, united in their determination to safeguard the nation's "border defenses," and build a more prosperous and happy border homeland.
