Suni Hạ Linh is currently receiving a lot of public attention for her participation in the reality show "Riding the Wind 2024" in China.

In the first round, broadcast on April 19th, Suni Hạ Linh performed the song "Just Chill." She sang in both Vietnamese and Chinese and performed a daring aerial acrobatics act. The performance was inspired by the story of Tấm Cám, depicting a resilient woman rising after a fall. The performance was well-received, ranking 11th out of 36 entries.

Facing public criticism, Suni Hạ Linh officially spoke out on her personal page on the morning of April 24th.

Ha Linh was born in 1990 in Ho Chi Minh City. She comes from a family where both her parents and older sister are dancers. Her father, Ngo Dang Cuong, was the former principal of the Ho Chi Minh City Dance School. The singer has released many popular music projects on YouTube, such as: "Just Chill" (106 million views), "It's Okay, I'm Here" (84 million views), "Crush" (15 million views), and "I Like It" (12 million views).

Suni Hạ Linh affirmed that the decision to represent Vietnam at the 2024 Wind Riding program in China marks a new chapter in her career, a journey where she decides not to be affected by the fear of not being loved if she is herself anymore.

"I made choices that were true to my nature: challenging and daring. I believe that in an international competition like this, the pressure on a contestant from another country is immense. You have no other way to stand out than to be yourself," Suni Ha Linh shared.

She also admitted, "When episode 1 of 'Riding the Wind 2024' aired, it was the first time I understood what public pressure felt like." Before that, she usually made safe choices, so she had never faced negative comments.

However, Suni Hạ Linh remains steadfast in her chosen path: "No transformation is easy or accepted from the start. I am mature enough to distinguish between constructive comments and comments stemming from the issues of the person who made them.

However, my team and I are all human beings with hearts and emotions. When we read negative comments, we just try our best to maintain a strong mindset and continue to complete our work in this "most challenging competition" in China. This is just the beginning; we can't avoid mistakes, but we hope to continue receiving everyone's support."
