| For the new school year, Trung Vuong Secondary School has 824 students, divided into 19 classes. |
From the beginning of June, Trung Vuong Secondary School started accepting applications for new students. This school year, the school welcomed more than 50 students, mainly children of officials from the former Bac Kan province, bringing the total number of students in the school to 824, divided into 19 classes.
Ms. Vu Thu Huong, the school principal, shared: "We require all teachers to work together to create the best possible environment for students to quickly adapt and catch up with their studies. From homeroom teachers communicating with parents early on to organizing connecting activities in the classroom, everything is aimed at making students feel welcome at their new school. The number of students has increased, leading to higher-than-average class sizes in some grades; however, the school has fully prepared in terms of facilities and personnel to meet the needs of students while ensuring the quality of teaching and learning."
For Doi Can 1 Primary School, located in the central area of the ward, near many provincial administrative agencies, this school year also welcomes many students who are children of officials and civil servants who have recently transferred to other positions.
According to Nguyen Thi Huong, Principal of Doi Can 1 Primary School: "The number of classes remains at 33 this year, but the number of students has increased. The school currently has a total of 1,369 students, including 37 students who transferred from the former Bac Kan province. We have evenly distributed them among the classes to ensure a reasonable number of students, and we have also prepared adequate facilities, a conducive learning environment, and activities to help the new students get acquainted."
At the preschool level, schools are also focusing on preparations for the new school year. At 19-5 Preschool, after the recent heavy rains, the kitchen was damp and the walls were peeling. At the beginning of August, the ward leaders inspected the facility and listened to requests for repairs to the kitchen area to prepare for the new school year.

Ms. Ca Nguyen Linh Phuong, Principal of 19-5 Kindergarten, said: "We hope the repairs will be completed in August before the children start the new school year. As a newly established central ward after the merger, Phan Dinh Phung ward has many educational facilities and also receives students transferring from other areas. This reality requires schools to proactively arrange and ensure sufficient facilities, personnel, and maintain a safe and friendly educational environment. The local government considers this a key political task, and therefore has implemented decisive directives right from the planning stage."
Mr. Tran Dinh Thin, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Phan Dinh Phung Ward, said: "As soon as we received the plan for the new school year, we held a meeting with all educational institutions to understand their needs and difficulties; we directed schools to prioritize the allocation of facilities and personnel, promptly address any arising issues, and especially ensure school safety and a friendly educational environment."
With close coordination between the government and the school, Phan Dinh Phung ward is preparing to enter its first school year after the merger with a proactive mindset, ensuring that every student, whether newly transferred or already established, can study in a safe, friendly, and high-quality environment.
