Tan Kim transforms in the digital journey

Realizing that digital transformation is an inevitable direction to improve the efficiency of government operations and socio-economic development, Tan Kim commune (Phu Binh) has implemented many practical solutions; promoting people to apply digital technology in production and life.

Identifying the cadres and civil servants as the pioneers in digital transformation, Tan Kim Commune People's Committee organized for cadres to participate in training courses organized by the district and province. The training content focused on skills in using document management software, digital signatures, online public service portals and some digital applications in work management.

Up to now, 100% of the commune's cadres and civil servants have proficiently used document management software; 100% of cadres have been granted digital signatures and use them regularly... Work exchange via the network environment is carried out regularly, helping to reduce time, save costs and improve the efficiency of state management work at the local level.

Along with the modernization of the administrative apparatus, the Commune People's Committee also promotes propaganda to raise awareness and digital skills of people through various forms, such as: Propaganda on the loudspeaker system, building billboards, sharing information on social networks Facebook, Zalo of the commune and hamlets.

Along with that, the commune has coordinated to organize many basic digital skills training courses for officials, members of mass organizations and local people. The training content mainly includes using smartphones to access online public services, making cashless payments, installing and effectively exploiting essential applications such as VNeID, VssID, Zalo...

The commune also actively cooperates with telecommunications and banking units to promote support for people to open accounts, install and use cashless payment applications. Thereby contributing to promoting digital transformation in daily life.

Hamlets establish community digital technology teams, regularly visit hamlet cultural houses or directly go to homes to guide and support people in installing and using digital technology platforms.

In order to ensure infrastructure for digital transformation, the commune proactively coordinated with network operators to conduct surveys, expand coverage areas, and upgrade Internet transmission speeds. Up to now, broadband Internet connections have covered 100% of hamlets, and network access quality has been significantly improved, facilitating online learning, e-transactions, and developing the local digital economy .

Thanks to the synchronous implementation of digital transformation solutions, Tan Kim commune has achieved positive results: In 2024, the commune's online administrative records processing rate reached 98%, an increase of 38% compared to 2022; the administrative records digitization rate also reached 98%. Over 99% of people in the commune use smartphones, over 97% make cashless payments; about 70% are proficient in using digital software.

In particular, 100% of hamlets have established a community Zalo group. Directive documents from the district and commune, and activities implemented in hamlets are promptly and quickly communicated to the people.

Mr. Vu Thach Dao, Head of Mon Ha Hamlet, shared: Previously, many people in the hamlet were still hesitant and unfamiliar with technology applications, especially the elderly. But thanks to regular propaganda, training and enthusiastic guidance from the community digital technology team, people's awareness has changed significantly. Now, paying electricity and water bills, paying for purchases, or doing administrative procedures are done by many people on smartphones. When implementing hamlet work, we only need to notify on the Zalo group, not having to go to each household or announce on the loudspeaker like before...

Sharing about the orientation in the coming time, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Dang, Chairman of Tan Kim Commune People's Committee, emphasized: We will continue to coordinate with telecommunications units to review and upgrade the Internet network infrastructure; at the same time, promote support for people to proficiently use software and digital applications in handling administrative procedures as well as serving daily life...
