Bearing in mind Uncle Ho's teaching: " Science must come from production and must return to serve production, serve the masses to increase labor productivity and constantly improve people's lives... The task of science and technology is extremely important, so all sectors and all people must participate in scientific and technical work, to produce more material wealth, to build a victorious socialism...", in recent years, Dr. Nguyen Thi Huyen - Deputy Head of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Culture and Tourism (Hung Vuong University) has devoted much effort to research and development of culture and tourism; in which, many of her research topics have made practical and effective contributions to the development of culture and tourism in the locality.

Dr. Nguyen Thi Huyen (born in 1980, Thanh Minh commune, Phu Tho town) is one of the typical young scientists of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Tourism Culture (Hung Vuong University). Passionate about tourism and traditional culture research; deeply aware of the responsibility of young intellectuals in preserving, conserving and promoting the quintessence of the nation, during 15 years of working in education, Ms. Huyen has guided many students to complete their undergraduate graduation thesis, trainees to complete their internship reports, Master's graduation projects; conducted many in-depth research articles on culture and tourism for scientific and economic journals in the province and in the country; participated in 6 basic-level scientific research topics, 1 provincial-level scientific project on issues in the field of cultural and tourism development such as: Connecting Phu Tho tourism with the tourist routes of the expanded Northwest region; Design souvenir products with cultural characteristics of the Ancestral Land from the Hung Kings symbol system to serve tourism at the Hung Temple Historical Relic Site; research the model of training tourism human resources in the community in Phu Tho province; produce souvenir products with cultural characteristics of the Hung Kings;...
Remembering President Ho Chi Minh's advice on the scientific intellectual team: "As a part of the revolutionary force, intellectuals have the duty to compete to serve the Fatherland and serve the People"; “The things that are disseminated must be practical, accurate, and must be done so that the masses can understand and do them. After disseminating, we must monitor and help the masses learn and apply them well. If we just disseminate and then ignore the masses, not caring whether they can implement them or not, whether the results are good or bad, then we lack a sense of responsibility”..., Ms. Huyen shared: “Over the years, I have always strived to improve myself and constantly improve my qualifications, expertise as well as my ethics, lifestyle, style, thinking and responsibility as a lecturer, a scientific intellectual; considering teaching not only as a job but also as an opportunity to research, practice, and spread the love of tourism and traditional culture among students. Through the achievements in research work, I hope to be able to contribute part of my efforts and intelligence to diversifying solutions in the fields of tourism, services and heritage conservation, and developing local culture; contributing to the development of advanced science of the country...”.
With her continuous efforts in scientific research and training, Ms. Nguyen Thi Huyen was honored to receive a Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for her outstanding achievements in education and training at Hung Vuong University, academic year 2017 - 2018; successfully defended her PhD thesis on the topic "Heritage of Hung King worship in Phu Tho from the theory of stakeholders"; is one of 57 Associate Professors, Doctors, Doctors CKII, and outstanding scientific and technological intellectuals honored in 2023 for their great contributions to the socio-economic development of the province.
