As the Deputy Head of the Nursing and Social Work Department at Thoi Binh District Health Center, Ms. Vu Anh Hong manages the Nursing Department under high pressure, handling over 150 inpatients daily and a team of 67 nurses, midwives, and technicians. Ms. Hong is also a pioneer in applying information technology in management, participating in scientific research, and has many recognized innovative initiatives. Awards such as the title of "Outstanding Emulation Soldier in the Health Sector" and two commendations from the Provincial People's Committee are well-deserved evidence of her persistent contributions.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Lam, from Tan Phu commune, Thoi Binh district, a regular patient at the Thoi Binh District Health Center for examination and treatment, said: “I come here regularly for examination and treatment. The medical staff here are very attentive, they ask about my well-being and instruct me on the correct use of medication. I feel very reassured when I come here for treatment.”
Nurse Vu Anh Hong shared: “The job of a nurse is to directly care for patients, so I always study and cultivate medical ethics, demonstrating a high sense of responsibility to build trust with patients. During my work, I always learn from and follow Uncle Ho's teachings of frugality, diligence, and hard work... without shifting responsibility to colleagues. Through practical work experience, I have also written many innovative ideas and experiences to serve my work even better.”

Pharmacist Tran Hong Nhi, Deputy Head of the Pharmacy Department and Secretary of the Youth Union at Tran Van Thoi General Hospital, is always dedicated to her profession and dynamic in her Youth Union activities. She proactively improves work processes, proposes many solutions, and pays particular attention to checking and monitoring prescription practices, contributing to limiting antibiotic abuse. Ms. Nhi also pioneered the development of a database related to drug contraindications, helping doctors prescribe more accurately and safely. As a youth leader, she leads many volunteer activities and community health care initiatives, spreading a spirit of responsibility and creativity among Youth Union members and young people in the healthcare sector.
Ms. Nhi shared: “I always focus on improving the department's operational processes, applying information technology in managing and monitoring prescriptions. We utilize drug interaction systems and ICD (Integrated Drug Contraindications) systems to support doctors' prescriptions. As the Youth Union Secretary, I always emphasize to union members the importance of studying and following President Ho Chi Minh's teachings, striving to improve their professional skills and expertise, and gradually improving healthcare for the people. In addition, I and the union members actively organize social welfare activities, providing free medical examinations and medication to the poor, and giving gifts to disadvantaged children.”
Dr. Ha Thanh Son, Deputy Director of Tran Van Thoi General Hospital, said: “Pharmacist Tran Hong Nhi always excellently fulfills her assigned tasks such as managing medications, providing advice, monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of medication use in treating patients, and has many innovative ideas that have been effectively applied in her work.
