Donated 200 gifts to orphaned and disabled students from disadvantaged backgrounds in Co To commune.On June 28th, the An Giang Provincial Association for the Support of Disabled People and Orphans, the Hoa Hao Buddhist Vocational School, and sponsors, in coordination with the Co To Commune People's Committee, organized a program to provide gifts and support to orphaned and disabled students from disadvantaged backgrounds in the commune. Mr. Truong Minh Thuan, Chairman of the An Giang Provincial Association for the Support of Disabled People and Orphans, attended the event. At the event, the organizers presented 150 gifts to disadvantaged women in Tri Ton commune. Each gift, worth 350,000 VND, included essential goods and cash. The total value of the gifts was 52.5 million VND.
On this occasion, the Women's Union of Tri Ton commune integrated the dissemination of information on gender equality and the building of the modern Vietnamese woman. At the same time, they encouraged members and women to actively participate in the campaign to build families based on the "5 no's, 3 clean, 3 safe" principles, contributing to the building of happy, progressive, and sustainable families.
