Deploying peak waves to attack, suppress and dismantle criminal lines and gangs operating in gambling and gambling activities. Implement effectively the reception and settlement of denunciations, crime reports and petitions for prosecution related to gambling activities and gambling organizations. The Prime Minister directed to do well the immigration management, timely detect, prevent, fight and handle the number of foreigners entering Vietnam to commit gambling acts, gambling organizations and Vietnamese people going abroad to gamble or organize illegal gambling.
Along with that, strengthen the state management of online video games, strictly manage the appraisal of online video game scenarios; strictly handle individuals and organizations taking advantage of online video games to organize gambling and gambling to gain illicit profits. Prevent and remove unauthorized articles, content, images, etc. related to gambling and gambling activities.
The Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Finance to coordinate with localities to strengthen the management of lottery business activities, to prevent people from taking advantage of gambling and gambling organizations in the form of buying lot numbers, lottery numbers or distributing lottery tickets in the wrong way. Completing the legal framework for lottery business in line with the current market situation.
