Strictly implement safety standards in construction

Implementing the Prime Minister's telegram on the serious accident that occurred at Dat Cuoc Industrial Park, Bac Tan Uyen District, Binh Duong Province, and at the same time, responding to the Month of Action on Labor Safety and Hygiene, the Ministry of Construction requests the People's Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities to direct all levels, sectors and entities related to construction activities to strictly implement regulations, technical standards and applicable standards related to safety in construction works...

At the same time, direct the relevant authorities to strengthen inspection, combine with propaganda, dissemination and guidance on the implementation of regulations, standards and technical regulations on construction safety in the area.

Through guidance and inspection, if any shortcomings, problems or limitations are discovered, localities are requested to proactively propose solutions and measures to overcome them, amend and supplement regulations, standards and norms to ensure they are consistent with reality.

The Ministry of Construction also requires that in case of detecting violations of construction safety, the entities participating in construction activities must take immediate remedial measures, focusing on ensuring absolute safety for workers. At the same time, strictly handle organizations and individuals who violate; stop construction if violations of construction safety are detected at the construction site.

Strengthen inspection and supervision

For entities participating in construction activities, the Ministry of Construction requires strengthening the implementation of regulations and measures to ensure construction safety, thereby defining responsibilities for each department and individual in charge of management and direct construction.

Review and supplement regulations, processes, and measures to ensure compliance with legal regulations, applicable standards, and current technical regulations; organize propaganda and training activities to raise awareness of legal compliance to each department and employee. At the same time, strengthen self-inspection and supervision of the implementation of legal regulations at the unit and construction works.

The results of the implementation report must be submitted to the Ministry of Construction before June 15, 2025 (through the State Appraisal Department of Construction Quality), No. 37 Le Dai Hanh Street, Hai Ba Trung District, Hanoi City.

The Ministry of Construction assigns the State Appraisal Department of Construction Quality to monitor, urge and provide additional guidance if any issues arise during the implementation process; summarize the results and report to the Ministry of Construction before July 10, 2025.
