Increase the retirement age for police officers.

Accordingly, Decree 57 adds a maximum age limit for female police officers with the rank of lieutenant colonel or colonel; and for male police officers with the rank of colonel or general.

Raising the retirement age applies to police officers.

From August 15th to December 31st, the maximum age for female police officers with the rank of lieutenant colonel is 56 years old.

Starting from January 1, 2024, the age will increase by 4 months each year until the person reaches 58 years old in 2029, as determined by the following schedule:

Decree 57 also clearly stipulates that, from August 15th to December 31st, the maximum age for service for male police officers with the rank of colonel or general is 60 years and 9 months, and for female police officers with the rank of colonel is 56 years.

Starting from January 1, 2024, the retirement age will increase by 3 months each year for men until they reach 62 years old in 2028, and by 4 months each year for women until they reach 60 years old in 2035, as determined according to the following schedule:
