The Tay Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor Unions recently presented a "Union Shelter" to a union member facing housing difficulties in Hau Nghia commune.
Presenting the decision to grant a Trade Union-sponsored home to the family of Ms. Le Thi Mong Tuyen.
A new home was presented to Ms. Le Thi Mong Tuyen, a teacher at Tan My Kindergarten. The house, built in Bau Cong hamlet, Hau Nghia commune, covers an area of 90m² and cost a total of 210 million VND. Of this amount, the Long An branch of the Golden Heart Charity Fund (formerly) contributed 70 million VND, with the remainder contributed by Ms. Tuyen's family and relatives, including labor.
At the ceremony, Vice President of the Provincial Labor Union Pham Thi Quyen congratulated Ms. Tuyen's family on their new, sturdy house, which will allow them to "settle down and prosper," strive for a better life, and continue to maintain and renovate the house to make it even more spacious. Ms. Pham Thi Quyen also thanked the local authorities for their attention and support to union members and workers in the past, and expressed her hope that the local authorities would continue to accompany, care for, and better support the lives of union members and workers so that their lives could be further improved.
