Giving gifts to those who have rendered meritorious service on July 27th.

To commemorate the 79th anniversary of the Day of War Invalids and Martyrs (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2026), the President signed Decision No. 885 on awarding gifts to people who have rendered meritorious services to the revolution nationwide.

According to the decision, a gift of 600,000 VND will be given to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers; wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, those receiving benefits similar to wounded soldiers, and resistance fighters exposed to chemical toxins with a body injury rate of 81% or higher; relatives of martyrs receiving monthly survivor's benefits; and relatives of two or more martyrs receiving monthly survivor's benefits.

A gift of 300,000 VND is applied to war invalids, sick soldiers, those receiving benefits similar to war invalids, and resistance fighters exposed to chemical toxins with a body injury rate of 80% or less; representatives of the families of martyrs and those who worship martyrs in cases where the martyrs have no surviving relatives.

The giving of gifts demonstrates the gratitude and care of the Party and the State towards those who have rendered meritorious services to the revolution, contributing to the promotion of the national tradition of "drinking water, remembering the source."
