Speed ​​up the completion of power projects

Tay Ninh Province Electricity Industry is actively coordinating with functional sectors, localities, and construction units to promptly overcome obstacles and difficulties in implementing power investment projects and works, to soon complete and put them into use as planned.

Right from the beginning of the year, the provincial Electricity sector directed units to have plans and seriously and fully implement the stable and continuous power supply; coordinate well in implementing investment projects and upgrading the power grid system in the area.

Since the beginning of 2025, the Electricity industry has completed the energization and put into operation 9 110kV projects with a total investment of more than 537 billion VND; invested in construction and major repairs of nearly 100 projects with a capital of 1,190 billion VND.

In addition, in 2025, the Southern Power Corporation (EVNSPC) assigned the construction and major repair investment plan to Tay Ninh Power Company with a total capital of 1,190 billion VND, of which 1,103 billion VND is invested in construction and 87 billion VND is for major repairs to carry out nearly 100 projects in the area.

The 110kV Thu Thua Transformer Station project (installing 63MVA T2 transformer) was energized and put into use in April 2025, increasing the total capacity of the station from 1x63MVA to 2x63MVA. The project has a total investment of 36 billion VND, equipped with a synchronous and modern equipment system according to international standards IEC, IEEE, ensuring technical requirements, safe and stable operation. The implemented items include installing an additional 63MVA pressure transformer, constructing and fully equipping equipment for the 110kV MBA compartment, 110kV segment compartment, installing new 22kV side cabinets including the main circuit breaker cabinet, measuring voltage transformer cabinet, compensation capacitor cabinet and 5 circuit breaker cabinets; Synchronization of protection control systems, SCADA (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition), power measurement and metering, and renovation of self-consumption power systems and capacitor banks.

Representative of Hoa Binh Industrial Park Management Board Dang Trung Tin said: increasing the capacity of Thu Thua 110kV Transformer Station will meet the power supply demand of surrounding industrial parks, including Hoa Binh Industrial Park to serve the production of secondary enterprises in the park; creating reliability and trust of customers in ensuring the stable operation of the power grid in the area.

"Sprint" to complete the project

According to the plan, the Tam Vu 2 110kV Station project and the connecting line will "reach the finish line" in 2025. Although the initial phase of the project encountered many difficulties and problems related to site clearance, weather, etc., thanks to the drastic participation of functional sectors and localities, up to now, the basic problems have been overcome, and the units have focused on "sprinting" to complete the project on schedule.

The 110kV Tam Vu 2 Station and connecting line are expected to be completed and energized in 2025.

The project consists of two main components: a newly built transformer station with a capacity of 63MVA and a nearly 9km long line with 33 pillars; the total investment of the project is more than 203 billion VND. Currently, the construction unit has completed the foundation of 22 pillars, completed the erection of steel pillars at 17 positions and is preparing to carry out the construction of wire pulling for the sections where the pillars have been erected.

The representative of the construction unit of the 110kV Tam Vu 2 Station and the Vuong Dien connecting line said: "Currently, the project has handed over the entire site for implementation. We are focusing on human resources, working overtime, working on Saturdays and Sundays to make up for the time lost due to problems and arising issues. The project has about 110 people working, of which about 50 people are working on the station and 60 people are working on the line, ensuring energization in 2025 as committed."

Deputy Director of Tay Ninh Electricity Company Nguyen Hoang Hai informed: The completion and operation of power projects are of great significance in the transmission and distribution of electricity, better meeting the electricity demand for daily life and production, creating a driving force to promote growth and sustainable socio -economic development of the locality, contributing to improving the quality of life of the people. It is expected that in the remaining months of 2025, the Electricity industry will continue to energize and put into operation 6 more 110kV projects with a total investment of about 777 billion VND. In 2026, the Electricity industry will continue to invest in 17 110kV projects with a total investment of more than 2,600 billion VND; 66 medium and low voltage projects with a temporary capital of about 1,000 billion VND./.
