Deo Ca Group collaborates

On June 3rd, in Phu Yen , Deo Ca Group and the Central Vietnam University of Construction collaborated on a training program in "Construction and Management, Operation of Transportation Infrastructure." This is seen as a proactive step towards securing a skilled workforce to serve the construction, management, and operation of expressways in the future.

Mr. Ho Minh Hoang, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Deo Ca Group, pledged to cooperate with the Central Vietnam University of Construction in training human resources.

According to Deo Ca Group, the Party and State's policy is to have 5,000 km of expressways nationwide by 2030, while only 1,500 km have been completed so far. This means that 3,500 km of expressways must be completed within the next 7 years. This is a major problem if the human resources for management and operation are not proactively secured.

Over the past period, advisors from Deo Ca Group have exchanged ideas and worked with the Central Vietnam University of Construction to develop a training program that meets the practical needs of the enterprise, shortening the training process to help students adapt to work more quickly after graduation.

At the ceremony, Mr. Ho Minh Hoang, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Deo Ca Group, stated that the group will send qualified personnel to participate in teaching courses to bridge the gap between theory and practice. In addition, they will cooperate with the school to organize visits for lecturers and students to observe the group's management model and participate in practical activities according to a specific program.

Mr. Khuong Van Cuong, General Director of Deo Ca Group (right), presents a scholarship of 1.5 billion VND to the representative of the Central Vietnam University of Construction - Rector Phan Van Hue.

Deo Ca Group will select its personnel, specifically construction team leaders and supervisors with a long-standing commitment, to study at the Central Vietnam University of Construction. Simultaneously, scholarships will be awarded to students with excellent academic achievements, with scholarship evaluation criteria agreed upon by Deo Ca Group and the university.

"We will work alongside the school and students with the strategy of 'thinking differently, creating a difference' to train personnel of outstanding quality," said Mr. Ho Minh Hoang.

Also at the ceremony, Deo Ca Group awarded scholarships totaling 1.5 billion VND to the Central Vietnam University of Construction.

It is expected that the major "Construction and Management, Operation of Transportation Infrastructure" will be offered and taught at the Central Vietnam University of Construction starting in the next academic year.
