Focus on production

In Directive No. 02-CT/TU on organizing the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026, the Provincial Party Standing Committee set very specific requirements. Accordingly, along with organizing activities to celebrate the New Year in a warm and meaningful way, ensuring that everyone and every family has a happy New Year, agencies and localities must focus on directing the implementation of the spring crop production plan within the best timeframe; proactively prevent and control diseases for crops and livestock; launch and widely implement the movement of all people participating in the New Year tree planting campaign; start production at the beginning of the year; implement investment projects according to plan, especially key, large-scale projects...

During their inspections of production, living conditions, and New Year greetings at various localities and units over the past few days, the provincial leaders repeatedly reiterated and emphasized this requirement.

Focus on production, considering it the top priority, and do not neglect production or neglect your duties due to excessive holiday celebrations. This is the directive and administrative discipline imposed on the cadres, civil servants, and public administration apparatus in the province. Production is extremely important at this time. Success in production in the first months of the year and in the first year of the new term will create momentum for us to better achieve the very large goals and targets set forth in the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress and the resolutions of the Party congresses of localities and agencies for the 2025-2030 term.

Taking a holiday during Tet (Lunar New Year) is everyone's right, but within reasonable limits, we shouldn't overdo it. Especially, we shouldn't use the holiday to cross the line. Past lessons about excessive holiday celebrations leading to neglected work, forgotten duties, or excessive waste are not new, reminding us to always be aware of our responsibilities. Each person, especially those at the helm of Party committees, government agencies, and heads of departments, must fully understand the spirit of Tet organization as requested by the Provincial Party Standing Committee to best manage the work and personnel within their areas of responsibility.

Tet will be more joyful when each individual, agency, and locality works to the best of their ability, with the right mindset, until the very last day as stipulated before the Tet holiday. Immediately after Tet, they should promptly get back to work, without anyone being reprimanded or criticized. The spirit of self-discipline and high responsibility of officials and civil servants will spread and inspire the people and the business community, so that spring truly becomes a season of mobilization, the beginning of victory.
