Danh said that each time he buys decorations, it costs about 5-10 million VND, even though he reuses old items from the previous year. “I only reuse a few old items; most of them have to be bought new to look nicer and more eye-catching,” Danh said. Trân shared that the reason she went shopping for Tet decorations early was because she was excited. “Lately, every day I pass by this road on my way to work, I get excited for Tet. The whole stretch of road is so vibrant with red, and then there are the apricot and peach blossoms, making me really eager for Tet. So today, I took advantage of my free time to stop by and buy a few things to decorate early,” Trân happily said.

Coming from Tay Ninh province to buy wholesale Tet decorations to resell, Ms. Tran Thi Anh Thu (33 years old) said that this year she has been busy with work so she only had time to come and buy now, whereas in previous years she would have come earlier. “The designs are diverse, so there are also many price ranges. Each store has a different price, so I had to ask around to find the place with the best price. This year, the designs are much more beautiful and eye-catching. In general, coming here at the end of the year always fills me with the Tet atmosphere,” Ms. Thu shared.
