Thai Nguyen simultaneously started and inaugurated key projects and works.

NDO - On the morning of April 19, together with the whole country, Thai Nguyen province solemnly organized the inauguration and groundbreaking ceremony of many key projects and works, and awarded investment certificates at 4 locations in the area to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025). Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long attended the groundbreaking ceremony of the Thai Nguyen University Construction Investment Project, Step III, Phase 2021-2025.

Comrade Trinh Viet Hung, Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee, attended the groundbreaking and inauguration ceremonies for the Hanoi Capital Region's Ring Road 5 projects passing through Thai Nguyen province, and presented investment certificates in Phu Binh; Comrade Phan Van Hung, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the Yen Binh 3 Industrial Park infrastructure construction and business investment project; also present were representatives from various ministries, departments, and Thai Nguyen province.

The construction projects and investment certificates awarded in Thai Nguyen province on this occasion total nearly 16,000 billion VND. Among them, the Thai Nguyen University construction project, phase III (2021-2025), which commenced with a total investment of over 320 billion VND, is being implemented within the planned area of ​​Thai Nguyen University and its affiliated member units.

The investment project for the construction of Thai Nguyen University, Phase III, 2021-2025, includes the following items: Laboratory and large lecture hall of the University of Science; Family Medicine and Medical Practice Center of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy; Lecture hall and practice building N3 of the University of Foreign Languages; Laboratory and practice center of the faculties of the University of Industrial Technology; Multipurpose building of the University of Economics and Business Administration; Infrastructure and supporting facilities of Thai Nguyen University.

The investment in this project will help Thai Nguyen University consolidate and improve the quality of training, research, and science and technology transfer, making it one of the three regional universities in the country, fulfilling national strategic tasks and regional development objectives.

Currently, Thai Nguyen University has 7 member universities and colleges; 1 affiliated school and 1 faculty; and 2 branches in Lao Cai and Ha Giang, with a total training scale of 80,000 students, including more than 1,000 international students from 24 countries and territories.

The Yen Binh 3 Industrial Park infrastructure construction and operation project in Thai Nguyen province covers an area of ​​295 hectares with a total investment of over 4.139 billion VND, and the investor is BMK Group Joint Stock Company. The groundbreaking ceremony for the Yen Binh 3 Industrial Park project is of significant importance to attracting investment to Thai Nguyen province. With its experience, the investor commits to implementing the project on schedule, ensuring that infrastructure such as transportation, electricity, water, landscaping, and environmental treatment are implemented synchronously and to a high standard.

Comrade Phan Van Hung, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the Yen Binh 3 Industrial Park infrastructure construction and business investment project.

Investment projects in Yen Binh 3 Industrial Park are mainly in the fields of mechanical engineering, electronics, and supporting components with modern, environmentally friendly production technologies, aligning with regional development and linkages. Once operational, these projects will create tens of thousands of jobs, increase export volumes, and boost tax revenue for Thai Nguyen province.

The Hanoi Capital Region Ring Road 5 project, specifically the section passing through Thai Nguyen province, has been inaugurated with a total investment of over 1,700 billion VND. Built with 4 lanes, it passes through numerous industrial zones and clusters in the area, connecting the Hanoi-Thai Nguyen expressway with National Highway 37 and Bac Giang province. This creates a route linking the Yen Binh Complex (Pho Yen city) and Phu Binh district with Bac Giang province, which will boost the economic and social development of Thai Nguyen province.

The Phu Binh 1 Urban Area Project and the Phu Binh 2 Urban Area Project cover an area of ​​22.33 hectares with a total investment of VND 1,685 billion, with Viet Cuong Construction Concrete Co., Ltd. as the investor. Upon completion and commissioning, these two projects will contribute to the formation of a modern urban area with a comprehensive system of technical and social infrastructure, complete with amenities and services, aiming to improve the quality of life for residents and promote the socio-economic development of Phu Binh district.

Comrade Trinh Viet Hung, Alternate Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee, along with other delegates, inaugurated the Phu Binh 1 Urban Area Project and the Phu Binh 2 Urban Area Project.

Several construction packages for the Song Cong II Industrial Park infrastructure investment and business project, phase 2, covering nearly 300 hectares with a total investment of nearly 4,000 billion VND, invested by Viglacera Thai Nguyen Joint Stock Company - Viglacera Corporation JSC, were launched on this occasion.

Also on this occasion, Thai Nguyen province and the investors of the Hanh Phuc-Xuan Phuong Industrial Cluster and the Bao Ly-Xuan Phuong Industrial Cluster awarded investment registration certificates to 8 secondary investors in these two industrial clusters with a total investment capital of over 3,200 billion VND.

At four locations across Thai Nguyen province, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long and other delegates simultaneously performed ceremonies to inaugurate construction projects, cut ribbons to officially open projects, and present investment registration certificates to businesses and investors.
