During the visits, Mr. Dang Hong Sy, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department of Binh Thuan, provided a brief overview of the province's socio -economic situation in 2023 and the first quarter of 2024. Notably, in 2023, Binh Thuan successfully organized the National Tourism Year "Binh Thuan - Green Convergence," creating a positive effect in promoting tourism, attracting domestic and foreign investors and tourists, and boosting the province's socio-economic development. The growth rate of the province's Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) in 2023 increased by 8.1% compared to 2022, ranking 14th out of 63 provinces and cities.
The political security situation and social order in Binh Thuan province remain stable, and social welfare activities are carried out effectively, contributing to improving the lives of the people. The Protestant community has made a positive contribution to the province's overall achievements.
On the occasion of Easter 2024, Mr. Dang Hong Sy, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department, presented flower baskets and gifts and wished the pastors, ministers, and Protestant believers throughout the province a joyful, peaceful, and happy Easter 2024. He also emphasized that, with their roles and prestige, the pastors and ministers should continue to work with the Party committees, government, and Fatherland Front to encourage Protestant believers to further promote the strength of national unity and contribute to building a more developed and prosperous Binh Thuan province.
Pastor Nguyen Van Hoang, Head of the Representative Board of the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (Southern Region) in Binh Thuan province, expressed gratitude for the active attention and support of the Binh Thuan provincial leaders over the past period, enabling the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (Southern Region) in the province to operate in accordance with the law. In the coming time, the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (Southern Region) in the province will continue to encourage its followers to preserve and further promote national unity, strictly adhere to the Party's policies and State regulations, and actively contribute to the development of the region.
