Early in the morning, when the sun just rose, Quy Nhon beach was filled with joy with the laughter of families swimming, sunbathing, or groups practicing yoga, playing volleyball on the sand...

For Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Tam (born in 1954, Quy Nhon ward), the sea is not only a place to enjoy the scenery, but also a daily companion. “I swim in the sea almost every day. Only when my health does not allow it, I sit and enjoy the breeze on the smooth and clean sand. Every time I go to the sea, the cool water makes my spirit healthier,” Ms. Tam smiled gently.
From the calm morning air, the beach transforms on special occasions such as the Art Kite Festival, when the sky is decorated with dozens of colorful kites...
Traditional kites, aerodynamic kites, 3D kites fly both day and night; there are large kites that require 5-7 people to coordinate to pull the string, anchor and adjust the kite to follow the wind direction. Against the blue sky or amidst the shimmering lights at night, the kites make a corner of the sea colorful, attracting the eyes of locals and tourists.
As one of the tourists who had the opportunity to visit Quy Nhon beach during the Kite Art Festival, Ms. Nguyen Le Quynh Chi (born in 1985, from Ho Chi Minh City), shared: "Seeing dozens of colorful kites flying in the sky, reflecting on the clear water... the feeling is both bustling and peaceful, unforgettable."
Also in that space, every weekend afternoon, the beach in front of the Convergence - Development Park resounds with the crisp laughter of children. For more than 2 years now, Mr. Pham Dong Chi Thinh (born in 1987, Quy Nhon ward) and his friends have maintained the "Weekend Children's Playground - Quy Nhon Beach" completely free of charge; he prepares speakers, microphones, toys and directly acts as the game master.

Amidst the bustling music, groups of children called out to each other, cheers and encouragement echoed across the sand... Adults watched and clapped their hands to encourage, their faces beaming when their children won or simply dared to boldly enter the game.
“The goal is to give children a healthy place to play, instead of spending hours with electronic devices. Furthermore, we hope that through the playground, children can develop new skills, make more friends and become more attached to their hometown sea,” Mr. Thinh shared.

The sea not only holds back those who stay, but also calls those who are far from home to return. Do Minh Nguyet (born 2001, Quy Nhon Tay ward), currently working in Da Nang city, every time she returns to her hometown, she goes to the sea.
Nguyet confided: “After traveling to many places, I realized that the sea where I was born is still the most beautiful. Not only because the sea is blue and clean, but also because there are childhood memories, swimming with friends, family… that I will never forget.”
From simple habits such as swimming in the sea every afternoon, participating in sports activities, watching kites fly, to the cheerful laughter of children in the playground on weekends... all have created a coastal lifestyle that is both peaceful and full of vitality. Quy Nhon beach is a place where the community meets, shares and cultivates love for the homeland over the years.
