Establishment of the Trade Union of Shipper Binh An Company

This is the first grassroots trade union in the province with members who are informal sector workers.

Leaders from the Provincial Labor Union, the Department of Construction, and the Trade Union of the Transport and Construction Sector presented the decision and flowers to the company's grassroots trade union.

At the ceremony, the Standing Committee of the Transport and Construction Industry Trade Union announced its decision to establish the Binh An Shipper Company's grassroots trade union; appointed the provisional Executive Committee and positions of the Binh An Shipper Company's grassroots trade union; and decided to admit 109 workers from Binh An Transport Business Co., Ltd. into the trade union, to participate in activities at the Binh An Shipper Company's grassroots trade union from June 10, 2024.

The grassroots trade union of Binh An Shipper Company is responsible for fully implementing the regulations of the Trade Union Law and the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union; assigning specific tasks to each member of the Executive Committee and preparing the conditions for conducting the grassroots trade union congress in accordance with the regulations of the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union.

Awards were presented to union members who achieved outstanding results in performing their duties.

The establishment of the Binh An Shipper Company's grassroots trade union helps build harmonious and stable labor relations, contributing to the overall development of the enterprise. It also marks a highlight in the work of developing union membership and establishing grassroots trade unions, signifying the expansion of membership recruitment in line with the general policy of the Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor in the coming years.
