Establishment of Bac Cuong Secondary and High School

Bac Cuong Secondary School is one of the schools with the most students in Lao Cai city.

According to the Decision, Bac Cuong Secondary and High School was established on the basis of upgrading Bac Cuong Secondary School (Lao Cai city) from June 1, 2025; the headquarters is located at No. 001, Phan Ke Binh, Group 19, Bac Cuong Ward (Lao Cai city). The school is a public generaleducation institution of the national education system, directly under and managed by the Department of Education and Training of Lao Cai province.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the People's Committee of Lao Cai city to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Home Affairs, Department of Education and Training, Department of Finance, relevant agencies and units to hand over the number of employees, personnel, records, documents, assets, equipment, and related tasks from Bac Cuong Secondary School (Lao Cai city) to Bac Cuong Secondary and High School according to regulations of competent authorities and regulations of law.

In the 2024-2025 school year, Bac Cuong Secondary School has 28 classes with 1,209 students; the total number of managers, teachers and staff is 53, of which 47 teachers are directly involved in teaching.
