This year, young men from La Gi town were assigned to four military units: Regiment 88, Division 302, Military Region 7; Border Guard of Binh Thuan province; Military Command of Binh Thuan province; and Police of Binh Thuan province.

In Phan Thiet city, Mr. Doan Anh Dung, Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Thuan province, attended and presented flowers to the young men before they departed for military service. He encouraged the new recruits to uphold the traditions of their homeland, strive diligently, actively train and practice, and successfully complete their assigned tasks.

According to the Phan Thiet City Military Service Council, with the motto "Recruit only those who are certain to be suitable," the council has focused on directing and closely monitoring the process of selecting young people for military service. Therefore, many young people who have just graduated from college or university have volunteered to enlist.
This year, young men enlisting in the military will be assigned to the following units: the 101st Brigade of the Navy, the Special Forces Command, the Border Guard Command of Binh Thuan province, the Military Command of Binh Thuan province, the Military School of Military Region 7, and the Binh Thuan Provincial Police.
