Binh Thuan youth leave for military service

In La Gi town, comrade Duong Van An, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Binh Thuan Provincial Party Committee, Major General Le Ngoc Hai, Deputy Chief of Staff of Military Region 7 attended the 2024 Military Handover Ceremony.

This year, the youth of La Gi town were assigned to 4 military units including: Regiment 88, Division 302, Military Region 7, Binh Thuan Provincial Border Guard, Binh Thuan Provincial Military Command and Binh Thuan Provincial Police.

Military Service Councils at all levels properly carry out the selection process and implementation time of each content in each step. Military rear policy work is always given attention, and activities to care for young people leaving for military service are carried out carefully.

In Phan Thiet city, Mr. Doan Anh Dung, Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Thuan province attended, presented flowers to the young men before leaving for military service and encouraged the new soldiers to uphold the tradition of their homeland, strive, actively train, practice, and complete their assigned tasks well.

According to the Phan Thiet City Military Service Council, with the motto "Recruiting the right person", the council has focused on directing, inspecting, and closely monitoring the process of selecting young people to perform military service. Therefore, many young people who have just graduated from college or university have volunteered to join the army.

This year, the young men leaving for military service will be assigned to military units, including: Brigade 101 of the Navy, Special Forces, Border Guard Command of Binh Thuan Province, Military Command of Binh Thuan Province, Military School of Military Region 7 and Binh Thuan Provincial Police.
