Recently, the social network spread a 30-second video, recording the image of a silver-haired teacher sitting on the podium, constantly wiping tears with his hands. Below, the students in the class sang the song "Powder dust" together. When the students finished singing, the teacher was still emotional, wiped away their tears, greeted them and left the class.
The clip was posted on the class's Facebook page by students of class 12A13, Hoang Mai High School, Hoang Mai town, Nghe An, with a message to teacher Van Duc Minh (62 years old): "First time seeing our teacher. I cry. Perhaps this is the last time he will stand on this podium, the last time we will listen to his teachings. Thank you for your dedication to education over the years. Thank you for your love and tolerance for each of our students. I wish you a lot of health and happiness. We are forever grateful to you!”.
Talking about that touching image, Mr. Minh shared: "This is the last lesson in class 12A13, also the last official lesson I hold chalk to stand on the podium in my life as a teacher. After finishing the last class, I spent some time talking to the children. When I saw them singing farewell, I couldn't help but burst into tears. I didn't want them to see the teacher crying, so I covered my face with my hand, wiped my tears, and quickly left the class."
In the last class, the teacher also wrote a guestbook for class 12A13: “…Children 12A13!. At the end of the high school program, they will enter a new horizon with many new things and perhaps more difficult things. I always hope and hope that you will overcome. They must always be confident, demanding, bold and persistent, making efforts and striving. Happiness will be rewarded…”.
