Forward Percy Muzi Tau is valued at 1 million euros by Transfermarkt . By joining the Nam Dinh team, he becomes the second million-euro player to feature in the V.League 2025/26 – after Matheus Felipe of CA TP.HCM.

Percy Muzi Tau is the most expensive signing Nam Dinh has made to date. Born in 1994, this striker specializes in playing as a winger and is known for his technical skills, dribbling ability, and attacking flair. He has previously played for several well-known clubs in Europe and Africa, including Brighton & Hove Albion (English Premier League), Club Brugge, Anderlecht (Belgium), Al Ahly (Egypt), and most recently, Qatar SC.

On the international stage, Tau remains a key player for the South African national team. To date, he has made 52 appearances and scored 16 goals. In the 2026 World Cup qualifying matches in March, Tau was a starter in both games, contributing to South Africa's two crucial victories.

The signing of Percy Muzi Tau clearly demonstrates Nam Dinh's ambition to strengthen their squad, especially as they will be participating in the AFC Champions League Two and the Southeast Asian Cup this season. As for the V.League, according to regulations, the deadline for clubs to register additional players is August 27th. If Nam Dinh includes Tau in their squad, he will become the highest-level foreign player currently in the V.League.

This is not only a step to strengthen the squad, but also an affirmation of Nam Dinh's ambition in both domestic and international competitions. With the arrival of Percy Tau, the team from Nam Dinh promises to showcase a more attractive style of play, while competing on equal footing in the V.League, the National Cup, the AFC Champions League Two, and the Southeast Asian Cup.
