Candidates note the scoring formula

This year, the admission score for female students to the Party Building and State Administration major of the People's Public Security Academy in the North is the highest at 25.52 points.

The admission score is the total score of 3 subjects in the admission combination to the Police Academy (accounting for 40%) and the score of the admission assessment test of the Ministry of Public Security converted to a 30-point scale (accounting for 60%) plus regional priority points, subject priority points according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training , and bonus points according to the regulations of the Ministry of Public Security.

The Department of Training notes that the formula for calculating scores is as follows: DXT = (M1+M2+M3)*2/5 + BTBCA*3/5 + DC, in which: DXT: admission score; M1, M2, M3: Scores of 3 subjects in the subject group for admission to the Police Academy; BTBCA: Score of the Ministry of Public Security 's assessment test; DC: Bonus points.

The candidate's bonus points are determined by the total priority points according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the bonus points prescribed by the Ministry of Public Security, according to the formula:

DC = DUC + Dth. In which, DUC = DT + KV. (DC is bonus point; DUC is priority point; DT is priority point for the subject; KV is regional point; Dth is bonus point).

In 2024, the new enrollment target for regular university-level police officers assigned by the Ministry of Public Security to schools is 2,150. The admission method to police academies and schools in 2024 remains stable as in previous years with 3 methods; method 3 takes into account the results of the assessment test organized by the Ministry of Public Security.

This year, the Police Academy has recruited directly, combined international language certificates with high school transcripts (method 1 and method 2) and 127 candidates have been admitted according to the above two methods.
