At Examination Point 03 located at Ca Mau High School (An Xuyen Ward), when the bell rang signaling the end of the exam, the candidates left the examination rooms one by one in a fairly relaxed mood.
Pham Nhu Y (a candidate at Exam Center 03) excitedly shared: "In my opinion, the exam questions were relatively suitable for the curriculum. The questions weren't too tricky, and the essay section allowed students to express their thoughts and personal opinions. I was able to answer most of the questions and am quite satisfied with my work."
Candidates discuss the Literature exam after completing the first subject of the 2026 High School Graduation Examination.
Confidently predicting he would score 6 points or higher, Tran Gia Thinh (a candidate at Exam Center 03) said: "At first, I was quite nervous entering the exam room because this was the first subject. However, after reading the questions, I found them very close to the topics my teachers had reviewed . I finished the exam on time and felt very comfortable."
Several other candidates also assessed the Literature exam as being of appropriate difficulty for students with average academic abilities.
The examination venue was safe and conducted seriously.
According to a preliminary report from the Ca Mau Provincial Department of Education and Training, 108 candidates were absent from the first exam session (including 12 cases who were exempted from the exam).
At all 35 examination centers, strict discipline was maintained, with no cases of candidates or invigilators violating the regulations recorded.
The exam support team assisted candidates and parents on the first day of the exam.
To ensure the first exam session was successful, safe, and objective, Ca Mau province had implemented a comprehensive inter-agency coordination effort beforehand. Police, medical , electricity, and volunteer youth forces were on duty from early morning to manage traffic flow and ensure security and order around the exam area.
Outside the examination area, parents patiently waited for their children, their eyes filled with anxiety and nervousness. Many parents shared that, despite their busy schedules, they wanted to be present to provide moral support to their children during this crucial 12-year schooling period.

The successful completion of the first exam in a serious and safe atmosphere has created a positive mindset for the students in the subsequent sessions of the 2026 High School Graduation Examination.
This afternoon (June 11th), candidates will continue taking the Mathematics exam, with a 90-minute time limit and multiple-choice format.
