The real estate market in Khanh Hoa is recovering strongly.

Although there aren't many new housing projects eligible for sale yet, purchasing power remains quite strong, especially in the land and housing segments serving real needs.

On May 15th, Mr. Phan Viet Hoang, General Secretary of the Khanh Hoa Real Estate Brokers Association, stated that in the first quarter of 2026, the local real estate market continued to record positive signs of recovery with 16,650 transactions, totaling over 20,639 billion VND.

Although there aren't many new housing projects eligible for sale yet, purchasing power remains quite strong, especially in the land and housing segments serving real needs.

According to a report by the Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Construction, out of a total of 16,650 transactions, residential land continued to account for the largest proportion with 10,701 transactions, totaling approximately VND 19,054.7 billion. Of these, urban residential land accounted for 1,711 transactions, while rural residential land reached 4,856 transactions.

The detached house segment also maintained its appeal with 3,232 transactions, totaling over VND 11,247 billion. The apartment market started to become active again with 902 transactions, totaling over VND 1,109 billion. In addition, other real estate sectors recorded 5,949 transactions, totaling approximately VND 1,584 billion.

The real estate market in Khanh Hoa is recovering with positive signs, focusing on properties with clear legal documentation.

The Department of Construction of Khanh Hoa province assesses that the market is shifting towards a more sustainable direction as buyers prioritize products with clear legal status and serving actual housing needs rather than short-term speculation. This is a factor helping the market maintain stability in the context of limited new supply.

According to Mr. Phan Viet Hoang, although the market will be affected by fluctuations in bank interest rates and limited supply in early 2026, real estate in Khanh Hoa still shows better resilience than in the previous period.

According to him, stricter management, legal transparency, and the elimination of speculative activities have contributed to a healthier investment environment. "In 2026, the social housing segment will play a leading role in the market thanks to strong real housing demand and supportive policies from the government. Currently, the province has many social housing projects underway with a total scale of over 6,000 apartments and a total investment of over 25,110 billion VND," Mr. Hoang added.

According to Mr. Hoang, although no new housing projects are eligible for business operation in the first quarter of 2026, many large projects are still being accelerated or have received investment approval. These include the Sum Lam - Medivillage eco -tourism and housing project with a total capital of over 508 billion VND; the Giang Huong eco-villa village project with approximately 210 billion VND; the Nha Trang - Seapark villa complex with over 221 billion VND; and the expansion project of the western part of the Dat Lanh residential area with approximately 280 billion VND.

In addition, many large-scale urban projects are also being promoted, such as the Dam Mon and Tu Bong new urban areas by Sun Group in the Van Phong Economic Zone, with a total investment of over 65,308 billion VND. Besides that, the Dien Thanh new urban area with an investment of nearly 4,878 billion VND and the Cam Lam mixed-use urban area have just had their investor selection results approved.

In the segment of housing projects under construction, the Department of Construction of Khanh Hoa province has confirmed that several projects, such as the Hacom Mall mixed-use building, Hoang De apartment building, and the Vinpearl Phu Quy residential area with 35 houses, are eligible for sale.

Mr. Tran Quang Ngoc, Deputy Director of the Department of Construction of Khanh Hoa province, said that the unit has established a Zalo group "Information System - Housing and Real Estate Market - Khanh Hoa" to update the implementation status, receive and answer questions during the operation of the Housing and Real Estate Market Information System.

Currently, the system has created 221 accounts, including 34 accounts for real estate developers and exchanges; 49 accounts for notary offices; and 8 accounts for relevant departments and agencies.

In addition, 65 communes, wards, and special zones in the province have also joined the system to facilitate data entry and information approval.
