Market reversed, VN-Index increased nearly 35 points

At the end of today's trading session (November 4), VN-Index increased by 34.98 points (2.16%) to 1,651.98 points, HNX-Index increased by 6.73 points (2.6%) to 265.91 points. UPCoM-Index increased by 0.65 points (0.57%) to 115.28 points.

VN30-Index increased 40.07 points (2.16%) to 1,897.71 points.

VN30 basket recorded positive signals when 24 codes increased overwhelmingly and only 5 codes decreased. The 3 codes SSI, VPB, VRE were the focus when they increased to the ceiling and had no sellers.

In today's session, the stock groups leading the market included: VPB increased by 6.88%, TCB increased by 4.17%, MBB increased by 3.9%, STB increased by 3.06%, LPB increased by 1.97%,ACB increased by 2.16%.

The group of stocks in the “Vin” family also increased positively, such as VIC increased by 2.87%, VHM increased by 1.73%, VRE increased by 6.86%. In total, these 3 codes contributed more than 6 points to the VN-Index.

Stocks also increased quite "hotly". In addition to SSI, VCI, VND, VIX, SHS, CTS, ORS, VDS, DSR also increased to the maximum limit. Dozens of other stocks in this group increased from 2 - 6%.

On the contrary, some stocks put pressure on the market such as:FPT down 1.62%, PNJ down 3.12%, GMD down 1.75%. Other "fiery" stocks in the session included FRT, VPL, CTD, DGC, GAS, BMP, SJS, KDC.

Banking stocks soared in today's trading session as green covered the floor. Only a few stocks fell such as KLB and BAB.

Total market liquidity reached over VND38,000 billion, of which HoSE accounted for over VND34,244 billion. On HoSE, green dominated with 189 stocks increasing and 117 stocks decreasing. Foreign investors returned to net buying over VND1,070 billion.

The market recovered after many sessions of decline, but securities companies still recommend investors to be cautious when making decisions.

Dragon Viet Securities (VDSC) believes that investors can consider the increasing fluctuations in the coming time to take profits or restructure their portfolios to minimize risks.

On the buying side, if the portfolio weight is at a reasonable level, investors can consider waiting for short-term purchases of some stocks that have quickly retreated to strong support zones and have good discounts compared to the peak zone.

Similarly, BIDV Securities (BSC) believes that the market continues to trade unpredictably, investors should trade cautiously in the coming sessions.
