From January 27 to 28, the Border Guard Command of Quang Nam province organized the program "Border Spring - Warming the hearts of the villagers" in 2024 for people in difficult circumstances in the border communes of Nam Giang district, Quang Nam province. THILOGI is a unit accompanying the program.
At the program, many meaningful activities took place such as: Zero-dong market; free medical examination and treatment, free medicine distribution; scholarship awarding; handing over charitable works; folk games, cultural exchange... In which, THILOGI sponsored 50 gifts of essential necessities for people to enjoy Spring during the traditional Tet holiday.
Colonel Hoang Van Man - Political Commissar of Quang Nam Provincial Border Guard said: "Over the years, THILOGI has always accompanied the local government to care for and help people in border areas, actively participating in highland volunteer programs; thereby contributing to improving the lives of people in mountainous districts of Quang Nam".
In addition, THILOGI has donated 200 million VND to the “For the Poor” Fund in Nam Giang and Tay Giang districts of Quang Nam province. The funds will be used to build houses and support livelihoods for the poor and students in difficult circumstances.
In the past time, THILOGI has accompanied the Border Guard, the Traffic Safety Committee of Quang Nam province, and the Customs of Nam Giang district to carry out many meaningful social activities such as: Zero-dong market; Lighting up the border; Giving away Tet gifts, helmets, etc.
