(NLĐO) - In an interview with a reporter from Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper, the victim's family stated that Mr. B. is brain dead and the family is requesting permission from the hospital to bring him home.

On the morning of January 2nd, a representative of the Ben Cat City Police Department, Binh Duong province, stated that the unit is still coordinating with other units to search for the suspect who assaulted someone following a traffic accident.

The victim of the assault is Mr. NTB (born in 1986, from Thanh Hoa province), currently residing in Ben Cat City, Binh Duong province.

Earlier, on the evening of January 1st, social media posted a video showing two men fighting in the middle of the road at the intersection of My Phuoc Tan Van and NE8 roads, in Thoi Hoa ward, Ben Cat city.

The man in the video pushed Mr. B. to the ground, then used a helmet and his feet to hit and kick the victim in the head. Only when the victim lost consciousness did the man leave, staggering.

The man brutally beat Mr. B. after a traffic accident.

After being assaulted, Mr. B. was taken by local residents to Binh Duong Provincial General Hospital for emergency treatment. However, due to the severity of his injuries, the victim was transferred to Cho Ray Hospital (Ho Chi Minh City) for further treatment.

A family member of the victim confirmed that B. had been playing football and was on his way home when a traffic accident occurred, leading to the tragic incident.

Reportedly, the victim worked as a metal door maker and had a wife and two children. After the incident, the family reported it to the police.
