According to sources from the supply chain, the iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Air will be equipped with a 120Hz display, providing smooth motion image display on the device.
According to ETNews, the iPhone 17 generation launching next year will all be equipped with LTPO display technology. This means that for the first time, the standard iPhone 17 models will support ProMotion displays with a 120Hz refresh rate.

Until now, Apple has limited the ProMotion display feature to only the iPhone Pro models. Therefore, leaked information about expanding this technology to the iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Air has received a lot of attention from users.
Reports from the supply chain further indicate that Samsung and LG will be the two suppliers of LTPO displays for all four versions of the iPhone 17.
Previously, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo also stated that the iPhone 17 generation would be equipped with Apple's own WiFi 7 chip. This chip will replace the Broadcom chip currently used for WiFi and Bluetooth. The WiFi 7 chip is expected to be manufactured using TSMC's 7nm process, as part of Apple's plan to shift away from third-party suppliers.
Apple is also reportedly using a factory in India for the initial production of the iPhone 17 generation, instead of doing it at factories in China. This move represents a significant step for Apple in reducing its reliance on factories in China.
